2024-03-10 | Michael Gove | Update 03/09/2024: Forget the following, It never worked again! Had a little trouble getting it set up; turned out I was over thinking it and not actually paying attention to the instructions. I have 11,000 songs in my iTunes library, so the first sync took a looong time. My review will improve if subsequent syncs are shorter.
2023-10-04 | Jeff Kinzie | Best app ever! Thank you, works perfectly everytime. If you want to add one track to a playlist, deselect your other playlists except for the one you want to add track to. Remaining playlists remain on phone. This option is great if you have a large collection of music!
2023-03-04 | Jordan Horowitz | I used synctunes pro to transfer from iTunes to my android phone. It transferred over 3000 individual songs. I've tried to figure out how to transfer music organized as albums a number of ways and cannot. Tried contacting synctunes pro 3 different ways. No response. Very dissatisfied.
2022-12-15 | mark addleson | I have an old-fashioned 'library' of tunes on my Macbook and had considered buying syncing software for around $40, mainly so I could sync playlists with my A50 android. Then I found Synctunes Pro and figured that, if it didn't work, it wasn't a major investment. Once downloaded to Mac and phone they connected via wifi seamlessly and the syncing was almost, but not quite, perfect. I'm very happy with the results.
2022-10-22 | N Paul Childs | So far this is a total waste of time and money. I purchased SynctunesPro but the desktop software on my PC does not recognize that the paid version is on the phone, so I can't sync more than one playlist. So, basically, a rip off by incompetent software design. Nice. Thanks a lot.
2022-09-28 | T Koyn | Do not buy. I paid and app appears no longer supported. Developer ignores both email and web site support tickets. App not updated in over 2 years. The bugs are 1) Every song is listed twice in playlists. I see two lines in the generated m3u files for each song, one starting the path with "." and one without ".". This causes my music player to list each song twice in the playlist. 2) The songs are sometimes not in the same order as in itunes. I will update review when I receive support or fixes.
2022-08-30 | Hardy Thorson | I've tried syncing my iTunes library with this app twice now and it keeps duplicating all of the songs in my playlists. 2 of my playlists have 150 songs in them exactly and when they show up in my music player they have a total of 300 songs. I've gone through and deleted all of my old iSyncr playlists and all of my "old" music, so this is something that SyncTunes is doing on its own. It's also not syncing all of my playlists. I use JetAudio+ for my music player on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
2022-08-06 | John Stiles | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blows "iSyncr" out of the water! It costs 3 bucks, but totally worth it. I paid $10 for "iSyncr" (sucks now). Android 11 phone syncing with a Windows 7 laptop. No firewall exclusions were needed either. It does about 20 songs a minute (1,200 per hour). You have to install the desktop program in your computer. Update: Added new CDs- it checks through the entire library for some reason (editing?) then syncs the new songs. Takes 6-7 min.
2022-02-02 | Jay Michalik | Insufficient options to control the sync process. Cannot turn off album art sync so you get an additional art file that is unneeded when the art is already in the mp3 tag. Fills up storage with unwanted files. Also cannot automate the process to be a daily unattended sync during the night. Totally a manual process that you have to be there for. A daily sync of smart playlists doesn't need to be a manual process. Are playcounts sync'd? No way to say yes or no in the application. If you are fine with only a manual process and few options, this is okay. Otherwise find another application.
2022-02-02 | Lyndon Jackson | Be careful...used to work well 75% of the time when I had the free version, which i was OK with. But i decided to make things smoother and upgrade to the paid pro version...wish I hadn't. Service not working at all - no playlists transferring at all, and after 4 emails I'm getting no reply. Feels like they got my money and have now disappeared. |
