2024-11-05 | Joshua Ogooluwa | Ever since the last update the audio doesn't work anymore . The developers should work on this please.
2024-10-28 | Kriogen | Finally I found a French dictionary that has transcription (it's French, without transcription, I'm lost), a noun's gender, and conjunctions.
2024-10-21 | Awa Marc | Has reliable source as a offline dictionary but still need add more contents as well
2024-10-06 | KerissP “Chris” | Excellent! Only drawback is that it lacks the speak button that the other dictionaries in this family have.
2023-11-13 | Greg Price | This app is extremely fast, which I really appreciate. (Pro tip: to make it even faster to use, there's a setting to open the keyboard first thing when you launch the app.) The dictionary content is generally great - it's from the French Wiktionary. I have the Larousse too, but these are often more complete - plus this app is far nicer to use than Larousse's.
2023-01-05 | Emi Naquou | Perhaps the most intuitive dictionary out there. But there is no way to view previous versions of updated definitions. Which is exactly how to easily kill a language over time. I personnaly won't update this app for this reason until this issue is fixed. Otherwise this is a very good app.
2022-09-04 | Umngeni Videos | It's nice. You can select text and a menu option then reads it aloud in French. But it unselects the text when you do so! The bookmarks button is not on the toolbar.
2021-11-29 | Bev T | Works marvelously! for intermediate/advanced with in-depth definitions and literature sentences as examples for each word. *I needed to configure speech settings for my Android.* Click the 3 horizontal bars in the app's upper left hand corner > Settings > scroll to Text to speech > Enable Text to Speech and Read Aloud > in that pop up box click Text-to-speech settings at the bottom > Change 'Preferred Engine' to Speech Services by Google and 'Language' to Use System Language. Voilà! I love it.
2021-11-17 | Ann Parks | Great app, with all the definitions you could possibly need. Never crashes. I have the English and Spanish versions also and can go back and forth between them as needed. Handy for travel and reading books and newspapers in the target language. Just wish there was a version you could use on an iphone or iPad. Highly recommend.
2021-06-25 | A MUSE | So far it appears to be in working order without complications. You can teach a child or an adult very basic French words. If possible, I reccommend obtaining a book or recording from which to learn languages. Portable devices have too many distractions for all ages. |
