I hate Spotify but my favorite podcast is only available in video there, Mutify makes getting through the DOZENS of ads Spotify shoves into every episode. and if the app doesn't automatically mute it, there's a shortcut to do it on the phone drop down menu. 5/5 if you have Spotify you need this to save your sanity |

As a person easily distracted, turning on music while I've been working on a project has always seemed to be a hindrance due to ads interrupting my workflow. With Mutify, that issue is completely interrupted as the silence allows me to gather my thoughts instead of getting distracted. Thank You. |

This app is great One thing that would make the app even better is if they made a widget for the home screen similar to the one spotify has, but i don't know how possible that would be. |

This advertising practice is very annoying and is disturbing to ones contentment. This app automatically mutes the sound while the ads play and restores peace and tranquility of what music is meant to be. If, like me, you're sick and tired of the onslaught of meaningless advertisements, try out this ad. Kudos to the developer! |

My only suggestion would be opening the app to have our playlist choices, artist playlist, etc right on the app, VS having to "open spotify", find your Playlist, then hit the back button until I get back to Mutify or home screen, open Mutify. Even if you open spotify 1st & forget you just let it play, open Mutify, press play if a song is playing, press mute if an add is on. Great idea guys 💡💙 this!!! ✌ |
| 2023-08-24 |  | | This is a miracle sent by God. -- It isn't perfect by actually blocking the ads, but it is still very well-done. 100% reccommend, because Spotify is now shoving four ads, (thirty seconds per ad), into our faces. -- This is best and safest solution I can find. I give thanks to the author of this artwork and will keep you in my prayers. :D Edit: I recently got an iPhone, and I was wondering if you are able to make an app for that. Maybe a side project XD. But thanks for the amazing app brother! |
| 2023-07-30 |  | | You do very much need to make it unoptimized by your battery. I failed to do so and it stopped working after a month. But uninstall and reinstall and it work again. Great app, does exactly what it says. Definitely drains your battery life but worth it for me. The annoying adds take me out of my work flow, silence is much better. |

The only issue I found that wasn't already listed in the FAQ was Spotify refusing to start whenever I hit play from a new session in Mutify. Could be a feature, but it has me sometimes second guessing if the app will function normally or behave like I skipped a track. Thanks for all the hard work and your preventing my spotify related frustrations. |
| 2023-05-09 |  | | Downloaded just to try it. I don't use Spotify, but it is working with annoying game ads volume. To get cards on South Park Phone destroyer you can watch ads to get some cards. Sitting through the ad doesn't bother me, but they override the game volume and play the ad at full volume. Very inconvenient when trying to be quiet. This app appears to mute the ad volume unless you touch the screen during the ad which makes it so much easier to grab cards during meetings. |
| 2023-04-14 |  | | It's a pretty good app. I've always hated how spotify ads were always louder than my music and then they destroyed my eardrums because I had my music turned up enough to hear it. It works well. Sometimes there's little errors with songs ending and it mutes a bit of a song but otherwise it's phenomenal. |
