2023-05-07 | Abdullah Al-Haij | A hidden gem among the other star apps. I loved mostly its support for local multi language star names especially Arabic. One thing I still couldn't manage to do is opening this app on the website form from pc or mobile. I followed your example in the about section but no success.
2022-04-04 | Rathlin Postman | I'VE used this brilliant tool for over two years. It's a Really Handy tool for anyone trying to get practice handling celestial coordinates. The developer regularly adds useful tweaks. Is also responsive to suggestions and questions by email. I often feel I should be paying for this. It's reliable and comprehensive. Remember to keep your field sensor tuned properly. Great for checking calcs. eg. Az. Alt. Amplitude. Works on ALL bodies - not just the 57 on the selected list. NEW.Reinstall in2022
2021-03-11 | Danny P | I have not used this app for a long time and decided for another, now I am going through the settings I hope it will be better than the other app I sometimes use however when it asks what language you wish to decide for it was so limited unfortunately that makes the possibility of my partner taking an interest and although English is understood Romanian is not there? Personally I would have thought an app with the capabilities this seems to have I am disappointed in the lack of languages!!!
2021-01-14 | Steve Tate | I guess I must not have acceleration sensor and a geomagnetic sensor. No instructions with app, absolutely no help. After 1 hour of trying to understand this program, and I'm not stupid... I uninstalled. I must keep the rest of my opinion to myself I think it's his time.
2020-11-26 | Matt S. | Nice and clean, easy to use, educational. I like the view options that allow you to either point your phone camera at a spot to identify a star or constellation, or scroll with your finger.
2020-08-27 | alice schadewald | I'm not sure if I like this app... for sure saw one planet and the app revealed 2... Am I supposed to just randomly move my phone around because I got names of constellations that I didn't believe we're in the camera's eye, yet. Was I doing something wrong? Otherwise, it is very interesting to see the galaxy when there's too much light pollution.
2020-08-14 | Big Rocket | There is a search function, but it cannot find the Perseid meteor shower's direction. Apparently this common celestial event is not in its database, makes you wonder what else is missing. But very intuitive to use, you move your phone around to find the direction of whatever star you're looking for.
2020-07-06 | Kathy Davis | Doesn't do work as described. It's a really nice star chart but not interactive at all. It's just a star chart on your phone. It doesn't actually find and name things.
2020-07-05 | Fyuuredhijgfzre Gjjygtdftyirguug | Unfortunately, celestial poles are inverted. Even after setting language, Arabic persists. Colours very fake looking. Zoomable in and out, nice options. Light app. Would be very good if it worked. It seems to presume user is in northern hemisphere.
2020-06-11 | Ham Wallet | This app is perfect for the home astronomer. Its more accurate and doesnt have all the theatrics the others do. This app not for someone who just wants to look at the stars without actually going outside and looking up. |
