2024-11-12 | Dat Boi | Idk what happened but almost everytime I try to load into a mission, it loads the load screen and then cuts to a black screen with "connecting..." in the bottom right corner and eventually tells me I've lost connection with the server. I've been playing this game for years and never saw this issue until now. The only "fix" I've found is to completely uninstall and reinstall, because of this "fix" I have been thinking about dropping this shitfest. Edit: It could be my phone, but my point stands.
2024-10-21 | devon day | I have been playing touhou lost word for the better part of 2 years. After this most recent "Aya delivery" update, im very strongly considering quitting. They took a good reward system and essentially made it into some kind of weird and worse version of a fortnite season reward system. This isn't a improvement and is instead a step backwards, into a mud pit that may or may not have sharp needles in it.
2024-10-18 | Bowy | Boring. I've been playing this game since 6 months after it's western release. and before the last 8 or so months, it was good. but the game is so boring now, the only change to gameplay is Stat bloat on levels, which is artificial and not fun. they pander to new or returning players more than they do the players they've had for years. and with the introduction of a battle pass, with the free rewards being only trash. I'm done. I'd write so much more, but I'm only allowed 500 characters
2024-10-12 | Plushtrap The Adorable | Has been a pretty fun and amazing experience so far! I do have one recommendation, though... The game should have a sort of level-up missions or quests, so that you can level up your Friends more easily. I can see them as being 'Easy' to 'Difficult', and the harder it is, the more EXP you obtain! Please consider this!
2024-08-15 | phoenix Taylor | The game is great, I've been playing this game for about a year now and I cant believe I haven't done a review. The animations are good, the characters, and the soundtracks are amazing and I love them. The story Is good, but the gameplay can be a little boring for new people if they haven't played a similar way. The think for me is I think it's hard to get divine paper dolls and epic even though I only need 4 to max out your character, I wish there were more dolls to give.
2024-06-04 | Ya boi Jakob | As an on and off player since launch and a huge fan of the Touhou series, I feel like this game has really stagnated in terms of actually gameplay. It's very repetitive, with no real incentive to play the actual game and instead just keep it on autoplay. Not to mention the in game rewards thing bombards you with way too much stamina at times, making it impossible to do certain daily quests, as trying to expend all of my stamina could take weeks of just constant autoplay. Art is INSANELY good tho
2023-10-08 | Harry Siestanto | I've been having fun playing. Music is very nice. The game is quite easy at first but gets quite grindy at higher levels. Gacha rate is so-so. The auto mode is helpful but it would be even more practical if we could skip fights altogether, to save time. Oh and, this is the first mobile game I play that has multiple/switchable VAs for the characters, it's quite novel.
2023-08-28 | Lavell Tyson | This is a very decent Touhou game. It has most of the characters, good selection of music and a decent gacha system. However, the story mode is unfinished and the events are kind of lack luster. The auto battle system takes a while to finish characters use their spell cards and final word cards right off the bat. It's still an okay game to play.
2023-08-15 | Willow Epp | As a fan of Touhou for the last 18 years, I REALLY wanted to like this! Even though it's gacha, I tried. The story part is interesting and fun both conceptually and in execution! Some of the art is great and the music comes from some of the best-known circles out there! But I found the battle mechanics and especially the grind were just... unfun. I stopped and didn't even feel a bit of regret.
2023-07-26 | Marx Scarlet | As a player from the beginning, the game itself has evolved, although hard to say for the better or worse. While still having interesting concepts, it seems like a one and done ordeal without expanding. I feel as if they dish out more characters (currently with 0 purpose) rather than focusing on the story. That's not to say what they have provided isn't good. For a mobile game it's alright, especially for Touhou. I personally wish they'd listen to fan feedback more often though. |
