2023-01-23 | Nowen Beadle | Being able to get the chords for any song recording, a jam session, even a live performance, is a God send. Chords are generally accurate, also fairly accurate in determining sections in songs, but the best thing about this app is that you can swap a chord for up to 2 other suggested chords, or just define a custom chord of your own! There are minor kinks, like chords analysis restarts when you switch apps, having to re-analyze songs after a device restart & proper support for Android 12+
2022-12-20 | Steve Vettraino | I really like this app! It's free, and contains NO ADS. It lets you transpose keys and tempo while using the built-in player, and has a capo function. Choose between songs in your music library, or use the microphone. An indicator in the built-in player shows you when to change chords, while simultaneously showing the tablature. It's an extremely helpful app if you have trouble figuring out chord progressions by ear.
2022-04-06 | Cameran Mayfield | This is a great app. This app is a master at identifying simple chords and I use it everytime I want to make a chord sheet for a song. The only problem I have with this app (from my experience) is the more advanced chords like 7ths, 9ths, sus chords, etc. The app sometimes has a hard time identifying chords like that and I just want all the chords in songs to be accurate so I don't have to change them myself.
2022-04-01 | Jezrell Paul Bonador | The app is great for me, It's a good on-the-go listening and learning app if you're running out of time... My only hope for this app is that, there should be a manual refresh of the song list. Most of the time, I download new songs and it takes minutes before the app finds it and refreshes the list. Not to mention, I'm guessing the app could only play and track song files with specific audio bitrate, which is not indicated by the app.
2021-04-16 | Juan Andres Morales Valoz | This is one of the most ingenious works of audio software ever made. I spent the day I downloaded this app simply scrolling through my music collection and testing the app to see how accurate it was and it's genuinely flawless. If you are a guitar or keyboard player, no matter the level, get this NOW. EDIT: Still good, but very picky with format, can't use FLAC files, for example. If an update expanded support to include FLAC and other more obscure file types it would genuinely be perfect
2020-10-31 | Big cash | Very accurate and precise! Thank you very much for the app and your efforts. I'm able to find chord without any hassle. But the only thing that is holding me to give 5 star I the problem with this app is finding the song form our song lists, it's quite a headache to search if you have lots of songs. Please put a search option on the app in next update.
2020-08-22 | Michael Collier | Great idea and, when it worked, it worked well. But over the last 6 months of use it kept losing my stored favorites and now I can't even browse for my own music files so it's basically useless. (Edit) Browsing is working again! Not sure how or why because there have been no updates for the program or my system. Favourites are still being lost.
2020-08-18 | Paul W | I've tried this a couple of times. I've also watched an introductory video. It's a very smart app, especially if you want to use it with a Yamaha keyboard - which I haven't tried. Why only 4 stars? As another reviewer said, it'd be better if it would print the chord sequences. I guees, though, that that wouldn't add anything for people who connect it to a keyboard.
2020-08-08 | Arisu | This used to be a great app... I thought it was one of the best music app. Suddenly, it stopped working. I couldn't use any of my songs. It would always say that the format was not supported when it's all an mp3 file and the same file that I had used in the app before it updated. I'm giving it 3 stars in consideration of the passed months when it was working but now it's just useless.
2020-06-17 | john french | Wish you could get chords directly from Spotify. It appears the song has to be saved on your phone but downloaded Spotify songs aren't available in the app. To get around this I just played the song on spotify on my Kindle and recorded it on my phone. The app worked and transcribed the chords pretty accurately. I was able to figure out any inaccuracies. This was really a great tool for someone who isn't all that great figuring out chords to a song beyond a three chord song. Wish it could print |
