2024-07-22 | Levi Malone | As of right now o beat the main story but none of the side stories. Doing that after writing this review. The game is a incredible sequel I'm very happy with my time spent. They made the game a bit more management by adding washing dishes and streamlined the story a bit which I liked no waiting for customers on certain days. I would like to see more management mechanics and more ways to spend money. By the end of the game I had soooo much money. Adding random events that cost money or employees.
2024-03-07 | Leah Bodkin | I love both the original Hungry Hearts and Hungry Hearts 2! They are such good stories and it's nice to have a casual game that isn't pestering you for money to be play the main game every two seconds with excessive ads, or limiting your options. The energy bar has enough in it to keep you going for a good long while and you level frequently enough that you can have longer sessions if you like. Super cute art style too. I just love 'em!
2022-12-19 | L B | Cute sequel suffering a few critical flaws. Having played the first, the premise is the same. Since I enjoyed the first, I downloaded this hoping I could just pay a few dollars to unlock the whole game, including the no ads option, but it totals to $7.50, which is just too much for a game you can play in under 2 hours of actual interaction. Add in the random ads that can pop whenever you enter/exit a menu, and the obnoxiously loud TV harshing the chill music during the convos, this gets 3* max.
2022-11-24 | Koru | This game has a lot of the charm from the first game with some new features. However, I wish there was a way to turn off the TV permanently. I love listening to the mellow music while playing, but then suddenly there's just all this obnoxious laughing and general tv noises. I hate it. And it prompts you to watch one SO often. It also can happen while you're trying to read conversations between characters, which REALLY takes you out of them. It's intrusive enough to ruin the experience.
2022-10-28 | Ayame Shimitsu | This game is more about unlocking the story than the actual game play itself. The upgrades are not really needed and I finished the storyline in 2 days. That being said, I loved the story and characters even if they are cliches. The art is cute and I found myself wanting to continue the story even if the game play is dull. This is the definition of casual. Nothing at stake, zero chance failing, and going as fast or slow as you want. For a free game, it was enjoyable.
2022-09-21 | Katherine Zeman | Cute graphics. Not enough customers to keep yourself busy/entertained for you to do something. Ads don't give/do enough and aren't worth using. Story is cute but no development for you as you can skip reading it. Once you max out the items the game becomes extremely slow. No mini games. No building advancement or personal designs. Within a 3 to 7 day game play you can max out the game.
2022-09-20 | Sadie Woolridge | Not too many ads but there are some...Game is very fun to me. I love cooking games though. Wish granny had a cat or something lol. Energy stays decently full so far I'm only level 11 though. *Edited 9/20/22* This story line is very progressive. They've also updated the graphics. Personally I loved the old ones. It matched the old times feel of the restaurant.
2022-09-02 | Juanita Garcia | Beautiful game to pass my break at work. I fell in love with the atmosphere and all of the characters' stories. Would recommend to anyone looking for a casual game to relax and disconnect your brain for 5 or 10 minutes. The only problem I had was that I would tap/hurry a customer to eat faster when I taped on someone else's order or to clean plates on the table.
2022-08-18 | Shelby | I love this game, the story and characters are so well thought out. It is definitely worth seeing out to the end. There's mystery, emotional stories and i thought the inclusion of a trans character was great! The game can be played thru pretty fast or you can take your time. Yes, they are ads that pop up periodically but they're all short and can be skipped thru. Considering this game is free and so great, I didn't mind them at all.
2022-08-02 | LufutheLuckDragon | Love the game but... Pop up ads can be real aggravating. They pop up at random times right in the middle of doing something and sometimes you have to close out if 3-5 windows just to get back to the game. I watch ads for fever mode and energy already and more ads will pop up seconds after watching an ad for one of those. Need to get rid of pop up ads!!!! Sad to say, the pop ups are so bad I'm uninstalling before I finished the game. Get rid of the pop ups!!!!!!! Ruins the game!!!!!!!!!! |
