This wasn't a perfect app to start, it's kind of slow and a little finicky, it takes a long time to connect to your camera and then you always have to switch the connection to Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth to do anything useful... But today I just got a notification that they're going to make it more prone to breaking by requiring you to log in to your Canon account to actually use the app in any way. Canon really needs to work on their software.

Requires Wi-Fi to connect via Bluetooth. I'm in the middle of nowhere without a Wi-Fi connection. I uninstalled and deleted the camera connection, reinstalled the camera connection, and selected Bluetooth for remote control and download. Whenever I select any option from my cell phone the app tries to initialize Wi-Fi. What good is having Bluetooth connections on the app and the phone if you can't use them?

Every since the update, the apps remote shooting feature keeps freezing with every frame. This is so incredibly frustrating. I am writing this review while standing in a camera repair place and the repair man said my camera is in pristine quality... the issue is the app! I spent way too much on this camera to not be able to use it due to an update that had made it impossible to shoot myself with the remote function. Please help.
