2024-11-01 | NavalFox | It's been awesome so far, both on pc and phone. . . But just recently I've been having problems with it. I'm sure it's nothing and will be fixed soon. This is one of the only wallpaper apps that allows you to choose any of your videos you've saved and apply them to your backgrounds . . . . It's soo cool and ive had it for a few years now
2024-09-30 | KINGBLACK 141 | Functionality is flawless in my experience. My only gripe is the lack of audio. I've dropped Wallpaper Engine for that very reason, but considering the lack of good video wallpaper apps that don't bombard you with ads and ask you for an arm and a leg every week for premium features, this is still the best option for live and video wallpapers. IT'S ONLY missing audio functionality. That needs to come ASAP. And as a tip, make sure the app is set to unrestricted battery usage to avoid video pauses
2024-08-27 | Terry Boulden | The fact they give you this for FREE is wild, I own it on the pc and the pairing worked like a charm! Adding wallpapers to my phone was super easy as well, just 2 clicks, select your quality option and hit okay! Why in the hell are y'all giving this 1 star? Because you don't have common sense? Go touch some grass and do your research and stop giving this amazing app bad reviews!
2024-08-10 | Todd (Fox) | Impressed but waiting for update, I been wanting wall paper engine to release a mobile from since I downloaded it on PC. And it finally here. And while I am impressed with the quality and the ability to move wallpaper from pc to mobile, I wanting for update to add sound to the mobile. As of now the mobile only supports the video but not the audio though they mentioned it will be an option included as an update in the future.
2024-07-10 | Jun Park | It's a great wallpaper app. It does what it's supposed to and everything functions as it should. It even has battery saving features that help to save battery life when you turn on battery saver on your phone. However, this app uses a lot of battery. I had a live vaporwave wallpaper background, and I would find myself having to charge once a day (even without much use). I use a S22U.
2024-06-22 | ?? | its been having problems with me (running version 2.5.1) and its functionality is a little limited. i wish we could crop, zoom, etc. better with the various wallpapers so they would work better and while it can be overlooked with having a playlist you might enjoy, the list seems to be duplicating selections in a bug and there are times that the wallpaper just doesnt work and you just see a default background for your phone meaning you go back and start it up again. please fix
2023-07-13 | Dalton Davidson | Really awesome app, and integrates fairly well with the PC version. Would be five stars if they added the option for different wallpaper playlists with options similar to PC (different playlists that change automatically based on a schedule or location would be great) Also, would be nice to add tags to wallpapers for easier sorting and filtering. Otherwise it is really great and doesn't drain the battery.
2023-04-09 | Dwolfin | Its wonderful, but some UI options and playlist control should be implemented. The app should support the workshop as well. That way, you dont have to connect to your pc to download. Also, I think it'd be awesome if wallpaper creation was doable on the app also. My main complaint is no browsing from phone, and lacking Playlist control.
2023-03-02 | Mikeal Brimer | Good app, but has a bug. It states you can long press apply to change if it's background or both background and lock screen. I initially applied it to both. I changed my mind and now only want the background changed. Long press no longer works and it ONLY defaults to my old option and I can no longer change it. I read the manufacturer warning but that's not the issue. It allowed me to choose the first and only the first time. Now I'm stuck, annoying bug but still love the app version.
2022-12-15 | Michael Berggren | Basic functionality is there. Connecting to the desktop application works really well. It's totally usable, but there are a lot of features that feel like they're missing: 1. Upload multiple wallpapers from desktop as a batch. 2. Apply settings (e.g. enable wallpaper reaction to motion) to multiple wallpapers at once. 3. Pause playlist. 4. The react to motion feature seems a little wonky. Some wallpapers seem only to react up and down while others you can look left and right. |
