2023-11-08 | Samuel King | I made my initial review in 2019. Partner commanders weren't able to be selected together. This is still not implemented, and I've noticed that now double-sided cards have the wrong image with the backside. I still like building with this app, but it gets more and more tedious every time WOTC prints new partner pairs or things like that.
2023-02-06 | That Bitch | I used this app for years, since I got into magic. It used to be the perfect tool. First the "display newest version" function stopped working. Now you can't add cards that allow you to use them as your commander in the commander slot. Flip cards started displaying the wrong art on one or both sides. When editing a deck every time you add a card the GUI will reset you to the top of the list. Now they arent even adding all the cards from the commander sets. Uninstalling. I'll miss you Unofficial.
2021-04-27 | Holy Robot | Well made, easy to use, and the basic functions of the playtest feature make goldfishing rather easy. Updates sometimes lag behind, but the polish and finish are worth the small wait for the newest cards. I have yet to see a single typo or error, except in the card image for Westvale Abbey // Ormendahl showing the opposite side for each respective entry. All in all, great app Update: MDFCs have wrecked the images for Kaldheim like Westvale Abbey. Still awesome, still a little behind on updates.
2020-09-29 | Pablo Figueroa | Update: they fix past issues now just slow to get new sets. I do Love this app! Started with the free version and then upgraded because it's that good. I don't usually buy apps, but this one is worth it. Easy to create decks and to build them in the format you want with all the filters you could think of! Thanks guys!
2020-01-17 | A Google user | The app itself is fantastic. All of the features I want and several that I would never think of are included for free. It's not without its issues though. Namely that it sometimes takes a bit to get the latest sets and there was one update where parts of decks got erased. That being said this is a free app by one developer so I can easily excuse problems. Additionally, the app has deck exporting and backup features so if you're concerned about the decks being lost there is an answer for that.
2019-10-14 | A Google user | It used to be really, really good. Quality has been decreasing over time. Sets are taking longer to be added, it quits if you use other apps, and the most recent update (ELD Legality Fix) rendered all functionality unusable, like the fix wasn't tested prior to launch. Either someone new and inexperienced is running the show now, or it's still the original person and they just don't care as much as they used to.
2019-09-10 | A Google user | My personal favorite MTG app right now, has plenty of tools for creating decks, doing online price comparisons, and small-to-major tweaking. A few issues I've been dealing with, however, include difficulty with lands and dual cards (transform and the like) as well as an issue with the app crashing upon use when a database update happens. If there's anything that can be done about these things, I would rectify my review.
2019-08-27 | A Google user | IT WORKS AGAIN! On my last phone (Samsung Galaxy s5), it started crashing whenever I left the home screen. But now it works on my new phone (Moto z4). It's such a good app and it was always my go-to MTG app. The game tools are really helpful and searching is fast and easy. I'd recommend it over other apps like MTG Cards Info. The searching is just so much faster and easier.
2019-08-06 | A Google user | Fantastic app for deck building and card searching. I've used this app countless times to build my irl decks and research on cards. With War Of the Spark update if you are having crashes when interacting with the interface, open the app, go to Data and Backup, then hit refresh on the Database Update. That should fix the issue of crashes.
2019-07-30 | A Google user | Very useful and well-made app for my favorite card game. So many search options and deck slots available, and many formats to choose from. [Note: with the War of The Spark addition, the app crashed consistently when I tried to access Decks, Collection, and Search. Updating the database in Data & Backup solved this issue.] |
