In Kalymnos and bought the physical guide. Downloaded the app but when trying to redeem with the code under the scratch panel it just says "oops something went wrong! Review updated to 4 stars. Need to create an account before redeeming a code - though perhaps this should be more obvious. Once done though, and having downloaded the crags you want it seems to work well.

Lots of bugs (doesn't start when opening the app, some topos and approaches don't show, sometimes downloaded content can't load). Also, for filifor topos, the additional route information (such as additional protection information) is missing. I appreciate that there is lots of content for different areas of the Europe which would justify the subscription fee but it would be nice to get the basic things sorted!

Did you test it before release? Creating an account worked kind of, but the redeeming a Topo code was met with a server error. After trying many times it finally worked. But when I clicked on the topo it just displayed another error. After killing the app and restarting it multiple times it finally worked. but there was only one crag out of the 19 in the book. And zero photo nothing just a list of routes. Finally vertical life subscribed me to their newsletter, which is illegal under GDPR.

My first experience with your app so far was that I downloaded it and immediately tried to redeem a code but I got an indescript error along the lines of "Something went wrong", I first needed to create an account and log in and then it worked.

No option for a dark mode on Android, downloading Topos does not work reliable, purchasing a premium subscription via phone also did not work... Update: I got the Topo download working by downloading a whole collection where the specific Topo also was in. Thanks for replying, I will write more detailed feedback to the customer support.

Paid for the outdoor topo subscription for a trip this weekend. Downloaded the areas I needed for offline use a week or two ago. This morning none of the topos or maps are loading. Now they won't even load when I'm online. EDIT: They have fixed the issue with the latest update. The app is definitely handy when it works, but I do have reliability concerns.

Great when it works, but reliably fails when there's no cell connection or wifi, and often fails even when there is. Even when in "offline" mode, it still trys to connect with the server, and refuses to function at all when it can't get through. Be sure to pack your paper guidebook or take a lot of screenshots if you try to use this in a place like Kalymnos.

App is great when it works but that's few and far between. Constant bugs that won't allow for viewing offline topos which is the whole point of the app. Get stuck in constant sign in loops. Not isolated to me as all others in my group with different phones had the same issue

Really buggy, kept crashing. I paid for the outdoor topo subscription and it wouldn't let me access topos, just kept asking me to sign in repeatedly. Map wouldn't show my live location which would be super useful when walking in to crags. Some of the approach descriptions are just incorrect. 'Downloaded' areas didn't actually download so didn't work without signal. So much potential, but poorly executed and doesn't work :(

It sort of works, and it's free for some simple stuff, so bravo VL. The route and walls work great for our local gym. Simple things are complicated though, I'm having trouble working out what a send, redpoint, flash and all the other variants are, search the web site and nothing, or at least nothing obvious. Entering climbs can be tiresome too, I often do it when I get home, which because we have to travel is after midnight, I have to change the date for every route. Edit 24/02/2024 Much better
