2024-12-05 | nomadkhan84 | Good game, similar to old game but different. Fun pass time game. Keys become useless once you open each dungeon of that key type. Perhaps an exchange in market. 10 bronze keys for 1 silver key, and so forth. Thanks Ty for fixing errors from last patch. Devs seem to actually read feedback and that's very much appreciated.
2024-12-01 | Mike U | Find a different game! While this game offers nostalgic fun for fans of Heroes of Might and Magic, it’s heavily pay-to-win. Progress slows to a crawl unless you spend exorbitant amounts on resources. Prices are far too high; even at a quarter of the cost, they’d still feel steep. You’ll enjoy it for a while, but eventually, you’ll hit a wall where advancing requires dropping $50 or more which is absurd! Save your time and money—explore other options.
2024-10-27 | Wyatt Lewis | The ads to double rewards used to work 100% of the time. Now, it gets stuck right before you receive the reward. Almost as if they're telling you the only way to advance is buy from the store. You get to a certain point in the game it gets glitchy, and ads don't work. Don't waste money on buying chests. The game will eventually become unplayable, and I think I'm close. The game crashes, and the dungeons the game play is ridiculously slow. It could be a good game.
2024-10-23 | Albert Newman | Im giving this an additional star above what i was going to give it because the game is pretty fun. Im giving this game a negative review because it has core gameplay mechanics which breaks playtime. Whenever theres a feature (in this case a timed reward) that causes you to stop playing it artificially ruins the fun you could have while playing the game. Ultimately its a bad gameplay mechanic that hurts your bottom line, the more your players play, the more ads and likelyhood of making purchases
2024-09-23 | Nicholas Arrighi | Pay wall in area 7 is impossible to pass. I've spent around $10 and it didn't make any difference. I'm stuck and the devs aren't going to get any more from me. I hate getting through a third of a game and then getting stuck because I won't drop $200 on their ishty mobile game. Save yourself the time and keep looking. This game is a trap.
2024-09-14 | Quantum | I just want to use my review to inform you that this game is not what the screenshots make it appear to be. For any of us who have ever played Heroes of Might and Magic 3, this game's aesthetic is immediately recognizable. This is not a remake of that game or even close. It's a very mid gacha game using the HoMM aesthetic and battle system. You won't be building cities. You won't be securing and managing resources. The strategy element is gone. Requires FB account to save progress.
2024-08-24 | Matthew Thornton | I appreciate that ads can be watched at your own discretion, and you get rewarded for doing so. It scratches the HoMM itch, but it leaves me wanting to play the originals rather than playing more of Magic World in particular. Not the most F2P friendly. I've spent $20, and probably won't pay more. You can get pretty far with good tactics. Slow/Entangle and Stun are goated spells.
2024-08-21 | Angyl Jacobs | I played this companies other Heroes game before this one. Had to stop playing because it got to where every other fight was crashing the game. Sometimes multiple fights in a row. Tried this one, and by the first dungeon it's the same thing. In just the first dungeon I had 16 crashes of the game. Not worth the trouble at that point. Fix your cheap, bottom of the barrel graphics game and maybe it would be worth playing.
2024-08-06 | Spencer Key | The core game itself could be quite fun. The pacing slows down quite a bit once you hit certain levels, but that is to be expected of a mobile game. My main complaints are: (1) many core gameplay mechanics aren't explained, and the game is not popular enough to have a wiki, and (2) the "random" effects are anything but for the AI, with certain effects seemingly guaranteed to proc in important battles (e.g. one thing with a 10% chance to occur has proc'd 8x in a row for me in one fight).
2024-07-20 | David Cook | If you decide to f2p which I have you shouldn't complain about watching the commercials(after every fight), but the commercials are long... Very long. Often with multiple countdowns. 60 seconds, then you have to click an X, then another 10 seconds staring at the ad page, sometimes a 3rd one. If you want to pay you could easily spend a hundred a month. It's a boiled down version of HoMM. The only thing left is the turn based fighting which isn't bad. |
