2024-12-16 | Allen Nuccio | For several years this app has been functionally broken on Android. It's slow to update, and the push notifications do not work at all. So, there is no reason to use this app as opposed to just going to the website, which will be more current. Terrible.
2024-10-10 | marc gentilcore | This app is STILL not working...the notifications still doesn't work correctly. I'm not getting the daily notification alerts about the government status. Just recently there was a status other then open and I didn't get that notice until I went into the app. Please fix this app pronto! Is anyone even doing anything to keep this app working and updated?
2024-01-31 | Naa Marteki Reed | Is OPM even supporting this app anymore? Used to notify, but gave no notifications for recent DC closures. Options menu is now a completely blank page, which is the opposite of helpful. App has also lost its name, so isn't easily findable on my phone anymore.
2024-01-19 | Adam Hall | Push alert settings is just an empty blank page, so you can't configure an alert for changes in OPM status. App has no text in the menu, so you can't search for it and only see a sketchy looking pixelated icon. Basically unusable, and when you do finally find and open it it's just a copy of the webpage. Not worth it.
2024-01-19 | Jacco de Zwart | As others have said, this app no longer appears on the list of installed apps & no longer sends push notifications. A reinstall did not help. (Worked OK for me several years ago though.)
2024-01-17 | F V | Confusing guidance... Jan 16 Status is Closed with No option for unscheduled leave for teleworkers (would've been more helpful then because of school closures). Jan 17 Status is Open with option for unscheduled leave for teleworkers (less helpful when schools are also open).
2023-12-27 | Alex Hall | Apps notifications are semi-broken on newer Android OS's 8 and up. The loading splash screen is also stretched on startup. Edit: current alerts are being archived after push. This app is (still) broken. Update: Now doesn't have a name in the app drawer on Android 14. Not sure if notifications work with Nov updates.
2023-11-10 | Justin Filipp | Update: notifications still useless three years and four Android generations later. Notifications are not expandable or selectable to enter app for operating status. Better than the last 5 years of no notifications I guess. Running a Pixel 2 XL on Android P.
2023-08-08 | Sabrina Hill | Please fix! While the alert pops up, when you click in it to open, nothing happens. Defeats purpose if you can't see the actual alert message.
2022-12-23 | Stephanie Schillero | Our work relies on the status of the federal government for weather related closings, so I have the push notifications set to on but the app never sends a notification for status updates! |
