2024-11-07 | Emmanuel Clifford | Fantastic work. Makes my designing work easier but it can be better
2024-10-30 | Terry Sears | The App works well on my phone and tablet. I like the idea of using only one piece of software to get the colour info and mixing recipe all in one place.
2024-10-26 | Tekena Travis | Has everything I need, but would benefit if I could switch the hexadecimal lower screen HUD for a similar HSL default.
2024-09-29 | Tobias | Truly great app, but to make it perfect for me I would like to see manual white balance calibration (e.g. pointing it to something that is known to be white).
2024-09-09 | Oliver Larkin | Won't let you start the app without agreeing to targeted ads.
2024-08-28 | Jonathan Webb | Unable to get into app: if I exercise my choice of cookies (none), it takes me back to the page explaining that I have a choice 🤷♂️. So unless I grant access to rapacious cookies, I can't even test the app to see if I want to pay for ad-free. This is either careless coding or deliberate. Either way they haven't gained another customer...
2024-07-16 | Ferry Saur | I am colour-blind and I do a lot of photography. I see colour but can't say what the colour IS ! So, who else could write a book on colour, specifically colour-blindness, than a colour-blindness afflicted person? This is my world, and I am using images in my gallery to show what I can and cannot see, and the confusion with similar shades of the same and/or completely different colours. This app has proved invaluable in determining colours in my images so that I can categorise correctly.
2024-06-09 | Jared Stevens | Can't take photos. There isn't a dedicated camera button. I clicked the color on the bottom and finally heard the shutter sound, but it says it needs storage permission to save screenshots, and the only permission I can give it is to use the camera.
2023-12-15 | Chris | I'm color blind and this is something I can use to determine the colors of things. one thing I wish it could do is for it to show what primary or secondary color it is closest to because it's still difficult to tell for some things, like arsenic is apparently a shade of blue but it doesn't look blue enough for me to tell. otherwise, it's exceptional.
2023-03-26 | Charolotte “Phoenix” Lenzen | I used this to help understand what colors can be used for snowy themed forests and northern lights. Snowy landscapes at night aren't white, maybe only as a base when starting to paint on a black canvas. Was pretty amazed at the range of colors in shades and tones this app was picking up on while looking at photos. |
