Had a lot of points built up and lost them also . Not impressed with the new setup. I'm sure alot of people like it this is just my opinion. To me it used to be user friendly. |
| 2024-11-17 |  | | Back when I used this app in 2016 it was a pretty cool app. Not now!!! I would like to get the best deals without having to become a premium member. I am one of those people that it is ridiculous to pay $9.99 a month. I tried using a deal to get 8 cents off a gallon twice and got a lower amount. It occurred to me u have to be a premium member to get the better deal. This app sucks. Non premium members deserve deals just a well as premium members. VERY UNHAPPY😡😡😡 |
| 2024-11-16 |  | | Please offer a cheap, paid version as an alternative to get rid of ads. Gasbuddy has gone downhill now that Google ads pop up at the bottom of tye Map view. When the ads are loading it causes the map to jump around or the stations icons/prices to disappear temporarily and it's very annoying having to wait for the map to update and repopulate multiple times while zooming in or out on a station and roads, even worse in low signal/data speed areas. |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | Very scummy when you try to do one of the main functions of the app, reporting gas prices, and the ad takes up half the page and you have to carefully scroll the top half just to report a diesel price and not click on the ad. Update: Banner ads are unnecessarily still taking up over half of the page. Can't even scroll out of it. Have to back out. These are just banners with extra white space. Stupid. Fix this! |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | I ❤️ the app when it works. I've been using it for a few years now but so many times it will not apply my discount even though it says it's activated at the time I'm pumping. I will go back to my transactions later on and find that it didn't actually "activate" my correct savings. It's so frustrating and disappointing because that's the only reason I use the Gasbuddy card vs my Visa. At least I could be gaining rewards with my Visa if I knew that Gasbuddy wasn't going to actually work! |
| 2024-11-12 |  | | Used to use all the time to find cheapest gas. Now the closest station to us that we often use has dropped off of the "filtered" list. We never set filters and have tried to change existing ones. Local Wawa station that often has best price has dropped off list too. I'm eady to delete app after years of use. |

Have to know how my personal info is being protected. Need help in this issue. Note: GasBuddy is ineffective and lacks function. loses leaderboard, won't hold prices, worst APP I have. They apparently can't fix OR they don't care. Am ready to toss it out. |
| 2024-11-04 |  | | Edited to deduct 3 stars. I've jumped through hoops to get the gas buddy credit card, link my checking account, find and activate deals, only for the card to come up as declined. I then have to use my regular debit card for the same linked account that was somehow declined. Happens 3/4 times it seems. Saves money and works almost every time. What's not to like? Good job. Smart app. |
| 2024-10-27 |  | | The app is decent except it does the same poor job with judging distance Google maps does. It tells me gas stations are 15 miles away that are on the other side of a mountain. Sure it may be 15 miles direct line of site on a map, but most people have to drive on roads. I am not able to drive through a mountain especially if no tunnel has ever been built. The same applies for intervening canyons, lakes, and other obstacles. Could leave you empty in the side of the road. |

Gasbuddy disconnected the bank, so I connected a different bank account, which they drew the same amount with fee. Double charging me. Costing a $21.82 fill-up to be $73.64. Contacted Gasbuddy, but they blew it off. Claiming they don't charge you the fee the banks do. |
