2024-11-14 | Tiger Irvin | Unhappy, I paid for the premium version and THEN noticed some pretty annoying bugs. videos autoplay and skip to the next one without looping, regardless of your settings. The app also asks you an additional time every time you move stuff if it's allowed to change the picture (move it), and you can't turn that off, so you have an extra popup every single time.
2024-11-07 | Desiree Lee | I hate Google Photos. It's clunky. It shows me photos backed up when I am trying to find what is only in internal or SD storage. My husband loves his Moto phone so when I needed a new phone, I picked a Moto. Well I found the Moto phones use Google Photos as the gallery app. I was actually downloading a screenshot app because the Moto 3-finger screenshot function is hit or miss. This app came up in the recommend section. Thanks Google Play Store! You did me a solid.
2024-10-21 | leaf eater | has trouble playing gifs when they are opened. plays then in thumbnail but not after you click on it. Folder view will show items but when "clicked on" it is just a black screen. Gifs also seem to cause album loading problems. If there are many gifs in an album you wont be able to pull up other photos or videos either... really has trouble with gifs.
2024-10-21 | C P | Mostly perfect and simple, one major less common issue complaint...If you pause a video, and scroll to a particular moment to view it (say to copy down a number or something) it does NOT stay paused right where you selected, so you get motion blur and likely lose the spot you wanted to stop by the time you get done hitting play (even though it's already playing at this point-another dumb glitch) and hit pause. So for what I need video wise-this app fails.
2024-10-02 | Tam Tam | Started out good but now I open the gallery and "rate the app" invades the screen. I selected the stars, but no good. The request continues front and center. That request stays there in the middle of the screen and makes the app stall or just crash. Side note....I have attempted to rotate and crop photos with no success. Not sure what's going on, but I'll be removing this app.
2024-10-01 | Dave M | Hopefully future development of this app will include the ability to pin folders to the home screen of the phone for quick access. Also to have a folder browser mode. Browsing to a picture folder that is nested inside of other folders is so much easier than to have to scroll through hundreds of folders on the main screen to locate it. I've had many photo gallery apps on my phone throughout the years. This one is by far the best, but it has the potential to be even better.
2024-08-21 | Michael Donaldson | Replacing Quick Pic, which has been deleting pics lately and other gallery apps have been terrible for options and sorting. This one allows me to exclude folders from my SD card (which clutters my albums with screenshot garbage), lets me sort the folders, arrange them in list form with small thumbnails AND will pin my Screenshot and Camera folders to the top. Great so far, let's hope it stays that way since every app developer seems to want to fix what isn't broken and eventually ruins it.
2024-08-14 | The Fox's Masquerade | The app would be better if it had certain features like shuffling throughout your videos. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent app. Yeah, it gives an add here and there but, in my experience, it hit me with one small ad every time I do something inside the app for the first time after booting it. It doesn't interrupt what you're doing either as it waits for you to finish making your move before throwing the ad your way. Also lifetime VIP is very very cheap so... 9.7/10
2024-07-22 | jonny hoadley | Has so many ads, and they're difficult to deal with, you can't just close the ad, hitting the x will still direct you to the ads page, or refresh the ad several times before actually closing. I frequently will close the entire app to get back to my folders because it's easier than backing out of an image. Otherwise the organization is nice and works well. You can set the folder image and label it.
2024-07-21 | Nightwatch | This a GREAT app for the simple fact that upon opening it shows me my albums rather than an "all" page, instantly bombarding me with a huge unorganized cluster of all my media at once. Both Google Photos and the default Android gallery app do that and it makes me very mad. This app is super sleek, easy to use, the UI looks great, and most importantly to me, it shows me my album library right on startup. Five stars all the way |
