App summary

Description
This application offers 10 interactive missions to train in mathematics through numbering, calculation, geometry and logic tests. Like an escape game, the student has a limited time to find clues and solve the missions.

3 modes:
• Discovery: to familiarize yourself with the different mission exercises.
• Training: 10 missions, with no results recorded.
• Mission: the 10 missions with student results recorded and visible in individual reports.

Progress of a mission (Training / Mission mode):
1. Mission scenario: a text contextualizes the mission and indicates the puzzle to be solved.
2. Time room: the student must save time for his mission by doing mental arithmetic.
3. Research room: the student must find 4 objects on which he must click to find the 4 clues that will solve the mission. Each object leads him to a specific type of exercise (numeration, calculation, geometry and logic) which will allow him to collect numerical clues used to solve a final test.
4. Investigation notebook: the student uses the 4 clues collected to solve the final mathematical test in the investigation notebook and complete the mission. This final test is associated with skills in quantities and measurement.

Content of the exercises
Each skill area (numeration, calculation, geometry, logic) is represented through 3 random exercises from one mission to another. They can be configured by the teacher.

Numeration

Ascending and Descending Order: Arrange numbers in ascending or descending order.
Digital timeline: associate the representation of a number with its location on a digital timeline.
Comparing numbers: finding the right symbol to compare numbers.

Calculations

Calculation pyramid: add 2 numbers side by side to find the number in the top line.
Find the odd one out: perform calculations in columns.
Problem solving: solving a problem based on a statement.

Geometry

Who am I ? : find the figure that matches the description.
Construction program: follow directions to construct a figure.
Symmetry: draw the figures symmetrical to those presented.

Logic

Logical sequences: complete a sequence of numbers.
Magic square: fill the grid so that each row, column and diagonal have the same sum.
Riddle: deduce an answer from a statement in order to solve mathematical puzzles.

• Solve problems using integers and decimals and calculus.
• Calculate with whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
