2024-12-05 | Tina Post | Good app, but can be glitchy. Sometimes instead of recording what you have been listening to, it will just pick a song you are listening to and say that you've listened to that one song over and over. The app never has updates either, making me believe they don't do much maintenance. They keep raising the price, but not the quality. I am considering no longer paying for this service since I end up having to go on Open Scrobbler to fix things constantly anyways.
2024-11-27 | Eli Ilyas L | App is no longer scrobbling correctly. It started out fine, now it will scrobble the same song (played once) 15-20 times in a row, while not reading others. Sometimes it is also necessarily to open the app or scrobbles won't be recorded. Nice interface but not doing what it's meant to at all.
2024-10-18 | Aria | For every 2 out of 10 songs that you listened to, last.fm will miss tracking it (or scrobbling), so your scrobbles are not accurate. it has been a problem since 2018, and last.fm hasn't fixed it yet. the other issue is how a last.fm label a song. I can listen to a song called 'Free' and a scrobble later it will be labeled 'free' feat x even though I listened to the same song. Accuracy & labeling are the problems.
2024-06-19 | Kandice Zimbleman | I don't understand what the problem is. I usually had this problem on my old smartphone, because it's old, but I'm on my new smartphone, which always works perfectly. But, this month, when I take a shower, n leave the Playlist playing, undisturbed, it only scobbles 1 song over & over, even tho I played multiple songs for over 40 min. But, when I take a walk, usually this happens a bit less. But, even now, this same issue is happens. This is THE ONLY THING that this app/system is supposed to do.
2024-04-17 | Christine Vasiliades | Downloaded just a few months ago and have had issues from the very first day. Doesn't scrobble all songs - I just played 31 songs from an artist which scribbled but the total amount that I played their songs did not go up so it didn't actually add the songs into their Library. I could go on and on. So many glitches and I just received an email that they wanted to raise the price. What's the point in paying for something that doesn't work properly. 0 out of 10 does not recommend
2024-04-13 | Femboy Addict | App is so bad. It was great before but now it has so many bugs. I used this app for around a year without problems. But now it's starting to glitch and think I'm looping a song many times when I'm not. It also says I'm streaming a song but after a while I check and it never saved 2 hours of songs even though I have the notification I am streaming these songs. I hope it all gets fixed soon bc for more than a year the app was fine but its been months like this and no changes have been made.
2023-12-08 | Landon S | One issue: due to Spotify's lame update, whenever I play a song credited to more than one artist, the now-playing widget on my phone lists each one separated by commas. So, if I were to play a song by 100 gecs, the app would not scrobble the artist as "100 gecs", but instead, "100 gecs, Laura Les, Dylan Brady". There should be a toggle in settings to omit any text in the artist field following a comma to prevent this issue.
2023-05-11 | James Kelling | App feels very limited in features compared to the desktop website. Please add the ability to delete scrobbles from the app and to view a longer list of scrobbles in the app. I work in areas where frequently am without cell service, so it is common that I have duplicate scrobbles. I would love to be able to delete duplicates from the app rather than having to log in to the website on my Chromebook. Also some form of format tracking would be cool since I listen to local mp3s, Spotify, & vinyl,
2022-12-21 | Jackson | Used to work fine but as others have mentioned here it now will scrobble tracks multiple times at random. One song was scrobbled ~35 times (all within the same minute somehow) for seemingly no reason. I have had to comb through months of listening data just to remove these false scrobbles. Add to that the lack of basic functionality in the app (like for example, being able to view/edit all of your scrobbles without having to go to the web version) and there is no reason to keep using this app.
2021-10-21 | Connor Wiley | This app offers no features or convenience compared to just using the website itself in a browser. Hell, the only way to love a track using this app is to touch a song from your history, which then opens that song up in your browser anyway. There really needs to be a way to just love a song with one touch. Also the old iphone app had a music player and could generate playlists based on songs you loved. That feature was removed years ago, and it was a huge loss. |
