2024-11-20 | Matt Simpson | Used to be a fantastic app. Now, between the frequency of ads, their placement (over my directional buttons at the bottom, to force you to press the ad - really??), and their frequency, it's not only ultimately annoying, but nearly unusable. Stop being greedy, and stupid about it, and do better.
2024-10-25 | Jake Osterhoudt | This is the first new file manager I've used since I found solid explorer and I started using that the day es file manager died. No file manager has come close to replicating es's usefulness or diversity in the things it can do. This is a pretty good file manager though and I like having the "home screen" back. It's not the file manager for power users but it'll get most jobs done and look good while doing it.
2024-08-01 | Jane Stacy | This is without a doubt the best file manager I've ever used. I am really pleased with it overall. My files were in a mess and now they are all organized and I can see everything and where it's located it even has a cleaner, duplicate cleaner and so many features on the free version. The premium version of the app is a real bargain considering the amount of features they make available. This app has been such a Big help and very easy to understand.
2024-07-12 | yadie sun | I've been using this file manager for a while now, and it's fantastic! It makes organizing my videos, music, documents, and images super easy. The cleaning feature is a great bonus, keeping my device running smoothly. The interface is user-friendly and everything just works seamlessly. Definitely a must-have app for managing files.
2024-06-04 | Tiger9194 Productions | What once used to be a great file manager has slowly become one that is "okay". Transfer speeds significantly slow down to the point of less than 1mb/s, making transfers painfully long. Has also been known to corrupt archives in the past. Overall okay if you want to do basic tasks but I don't recommend if you do alot of file transfers or have sensitive and important files that you can't have corrupted.
2023-10-19 | Brandon Tarr | Former ES File Explorer user / holdout here. (the old version that I backed up and never updated) While I still vastly prefer the ES File Explorer UI, which is entirely subjective, I finally got fed up with the inability to create links on the desktop due to Android updates. So, I finally made the switch to File Manager and I can honestly say that I will never look back. File manager has everything you need. If I were to nitpick, the ability to reorder the My favorites list would be nice.
2023-04-08 | Kyle White | Good file manager that allows me to connect to the SMB shares on my NAS! Only major complaint is that I wish the "sort by" option would be remembered on a per-folder basis so different folders can be sorted alphabetically or by date. Then I wouldn't have to change it so often. Devs? π Another issue I've experienced with SMB is that copying/moving files resets the "date modified" metadata.
2023-04-02 | Rob Taylor | 4/2/23 - This is almost great. Thought I'd finally found a fairly ideal file manager; well designed, attractive, fast, found my local SMB servers, etc, etc... and was excitedly about to purchase, then realized that the only Cloud service it'll connect to is Google Drive! Why even have a "Cloud" icon!? You might as well just have a "Google Drive" icon. I use Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive; each for different purposes. How strangely limiting. Very disappointing! Sooooo close.
2023-03-20 | Kea Sai | Finally found out "move" doesn't actually **move** files it just copies and pastes without ever deleting the originals, which is completely useless for me. (Also that's NOT the definition of MOVE) After trying multiple times with the same files (bc I thought they never transferred) I look in the destination folder in my cloud to find that they've been copied 5 times over. This whole time I thought it wasn't going because the original files were still there. What a waste of my data and time.
2023-02-25 | Amber Baker | I've never written a review for an app before. But I have gone through many file management apps and I am so happy I found this one. It's easy to use, no pressure for upgrading, and if you do it's just a one time purchase for just a few dollars for ad free. Non-premium users have full access to all features. No begging for monthly payments (to be paid for 12 months upfront like the other apps). I highly recommend checking this one out before spending money on other apps. |
