It would be incredible if the minor issues were fixed. There's a great game in here somewhere. But there's not enough features that warrant playing. Also, it's a little too fast paced and there will occasionally be things in game that are actually impossible to avoid and it makes playing very annoying. Plus, having to use your finger to drag the ship creates a huge blind spot making it much more difficult to see enemies. Not to mention the currency system is way too stingy with giving coins.

This game has been a blast! It is very easy to control, and yet the game itself can get pretty challenging! (Which I greatly enjoy!) While I don't like the paywall behind new ships, I am glad that there's still an option to get those ships with in-game credits. I just need to grind every day, but it is a great time killer!

First impressions - very challenging and fun. It's interesting to me how the reskinned but still charmingly retro aesthetic hides a surprisingly challenging game. I play the "bullet storm" subgenre of these types of games and been able to get so much farther in them than on this one, but I like that. I also like that it's not absolutely covered in ads and doesn't really force anything in your face; it just wants you to come in and have fun. I hope it doesn't let me down.

Very nice! A great way to bring this back with shiny pristine graphics. I still will always prefer the original pixelated one preferably, and perhaps a pause button with the option of pausing on release ? I personally would prefer to be able stop shooting without the game stopping but overall I love it. Some people complained about ads but this game is free, you gotta get your little bucks and the ads all can be skipped after a few seconds , perhaps a little more variety in ads but non invasive

One of the best mobile games I've played. Since I was a kid, I always liked Galaga but was terrible at it! But this game I've been able to get good at. I played a few minutes every day for months, slowly getting better weapons, more ships, and more skill. It has been fun and rewarding to slowly unlock more of the game. Very well designed. There can be a lot of ads. My suggestion is to pay a few bucks and buy the Galaga 88 ship. This will remove mandatory ads. Recommended!

It's a great game! Played these in the arcades when I was a kid, and is just as fun as it was then. Addictive as well. I only gave it a four star because recently the controls have gone haywire. The ship never stays where my finger is, and it's movement is erratic, which is frustrating as I hadn't changed any of my settings. Add to that, I've had the game awhile now and want to keep my progress current. And don't want to have to do a reinstall to correct the issue.

A really good space shooter! This game pays tribute to the amazing shoot'em-ups of the 80s & 90s. Many mobile space shooters feel like bad impersonators, but Galaga wars nails it. The controls are simplistic, yet fun. The stages are memorable, the ship selection is awesome (I love the starblade ship), and the enemies are (mostly) fair. Yes, it has bulletstorm moments, but that's perfect for a game like this. This is the best space shooter on mobile phones and you should give it a try!

The control scheme here is very intuitive, the gameplay is infectious, glad it remembered my cloud save from 2019 when I installed it the other day. What I don't like is how enemies or bullets will hide behind my thumb and suddenly kill my character-- I get it comes with the control scheme but it makes the level 6 boss borderline impossible

One thing I will say: instant ad skips are broken. If you buy something in the game, it gives you and skips. Which means watching a video to start a level, it will skip the ad and just start the level. You don't need to use warps and you don't have to watch an ad. Don't know the limits to that. Other than that, it's just galaga. There's nothing fancy. The "extra" levels that you get from buying Pac-Man are just reskinned regular levels. I'd much rather buy the games and have classic experiences

The gameplay is good, the music is great, and the graphics are all stellar, but the biggest killing blow to what would be an enjoyable experience is the crippling amount of ads the game has. Unless you've accumulated 100 coins to use your existing extra life, you have to watch an ad. Game Over, and want to return to upgrade your ship? You get an ad every time you Game Over. It's jarring enough to fully interrupt an otherwise rather fast-paced and enjoyable time.
