| 2024-11-13 |  | | In my experience, I've had trouble in the past, connecting my phone to the wireless printer. After about 5 minutes of searching for printers, I'm already irritated. By this time I want to show that machine whose boss, come on! Whatever happened to wires, those were ole reliable. Now I waste time waiting for the darn thing to connect, and it takes so long that the printer turns off... This must be outdated, but finally, my boyfriend got it to work, just with a few extra steps. |

I'm constantly restarting the app and the printer, reconnecting the printer and reprinting unfinished pages. I don't know why it's so glitchy, I just want a product that works without prayers and light voodoo. |

I cannot choose print quality (i.e. draft, standard, high). It will always print to high quality which wastes a bunch of my ink. 2. I cannot select which tray I want to print from. It always defaults to my rear tray instead of the two front trays. |

Now none of my devices are recognized and I keep getting code 45. 2 years later...It worked intermittently, and now it won't connect to the network despite many resets. This is so frustrating! The device and drivers are up to date but won't print no matter which device I use. Please fix and send out an update. |

I do think it uses far too much ink and then the cost to replace that ink is somewhat excessive for the copies you get out of a cartridge. Needing all the colors to print even though you're only printing in black and white is a little frustrating as well. Four stars |

It would find the printer and have me enter the password (did this several times), then tell me it couldn't connect. I finally downloaded Epson iPrint app and seconds later I'm printing again! Thank you so much! |

Occasionally I have to reconnect the printer, usually because privacy terms have updated and I need to re-sign the agreement, but other than that it works perfectly, allowing me to print, scan, etc, from my phone. Also allowed me to scan from the document table when for some reason the printer itself would not let me switch from ADF to the document table. |
| 2023-09-16 |  | | Device: XP 445. I like the app, but following features are missing: 1. In Memory Access (SD card) I cannot see scanned PDF file, only pictures are visualized 2. Via Memory Access I cannot remove selected files 3. If I use Scan with color via the app, then the white background changes to light blue. I could not reproduce this behavior via direct Scan to PDF. I hope that this will be improved in the future. I still give 5 stars because the user experience has been greatly improved by this app. |

Finally after ten hours of trying to figure it out, we called it a night at 6:26 am! Honestly, the instructions were written by people who knew a lot about setting printers up. Unfortunately, they didn't get the memo to show every step of how to get from A to Z! It appears they didn't realize some users have no experience in setting up printers! Sometimes it connects; other times it doesn't. I do want the option to turn on double-sided printing, but the option is grayed-out, even though the printer is capable of it. |
