App summary
The Scripture Citation Index is the mobile version of scriptures.byu.edu.
This app lets you navigate easily between the scriptures (standard works of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, etc.) and the General Conference talks and other writings that cite those scriptures.
For example, you can see who has cited 1 Timothy 4:12 or Daniel 2:44 in General Conference (1942-present), in the Journal of Discourses, or in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith.
Our users tell us that this app is very helpful for scripture study and lesson/talk preparation.

User reviews
The app stays in a continual status of downloading the database and never does. I have used the app for a long time and would like to continue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.
4.5 stars. The only change I would make is if you made it so that the default thing it searches are scriptures instead of talks. Searching for cross-references is slightly more frustrating when I have to switch the search area from talks to scriptures every time. Other than my small annoyance, the app functions beautifully. Thank you for creating this VERY helpful tool!
I really like how it helps me with my personal study. It helps me search by word or phrase and it's often a better search than the Gospel Library. Sadly, it hadn't been updated in a year. No October 2023 or April 2024 General Conference talks. Please add the latest talks.
