EDIT Dungeon is working now, many thanks I am nearing the end of the game with some sadness. All islands and bronze dungeons completed. There are some aspects of gameplay that remind me of Heroes of Might and Magic; my favourite ever PC game, without out the tedium of castle building. I have thoroughly enjoyed entirely FTP and will continue to build troops for fun from Explore events and chests. Thank you for a fun game. This would be 5* if there were more islands and dungeons.

Kind of fun, but so unbalanced us to be unplayable. Your power advances based on random things you get. There are so many random things, that there's no guarantee your power will advance at all. But the game is designed so that the difficulty advances. Which means you will hit a wall and if you don't spend money you're stuck forever. The arena put you against people who have gone through the same RNG absurdity. Also the leaderboard is completely fake. Sort of transparently so.

This game used to be fun and playable without paying any money. The event used to be difficult but doable, same with the dungeons. With this current update, the events and dungeons are impossible unless you spend tens of thousands of dollars to upgrade your heroes, and it's just not fun anymore. If the heroes in the events were around the same level/strength as our heroes are, since we can't ugrade them much until we get their cards, the game would still be fun. But as it is, it sucks now.
