Great app love the simplicity. I have loss 70 lbs using this app. I came back to check for changes. I am so glad to have the simple app back, and wish I could return, but I need an app that tracks my sodium cholesterol, and vitamins now, as well as the carbs, fat, and protein. Doctors Rule! I returned to check for changes again.

Love the idea and the interface is nice, however the data for carbs is so far wrong it's ludicrous. All the information is in metric, which isn't a problem but the options are so limited that it's very difficult to get accurate measurements. Uninstalled after entering one meal. If you are diabetic or just trying to manage your carb intake, accurately, this is definitely not the app for you.

I change my review from 5 to 4 stars because I cannot figure out how to manually enter a food without scanning a barcode. Many foods do not have bar codes and accurate info can be found through an internet search. However, can't manually enter data for non-packaged foods. I had used the previous version last year when I was getting in shape and you COULD enter food manually without scanning codes. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO IT!Also, many foods have incorrect data that cannot be edited.

Update-I changed from 5 to 3 stars. The developers decided to confuse everyone by changing AFTERNOON SNACK to SNACK AFTER LUNCH etc! Does this even make any sense? Please stop the confusing verbiage. Original - This app was very easy to use. It has most foods already loaded into it, just scan the bar code and it's there. I have had to adjust the amount, weight, or portion to get an accurate calorie count but it's better than having to input everything. Plus carbs, fats , protein.

I want to love this app, but it keeps deleting the previous day when I edit today. Not all of it, just random parts. I fixed it.. and then it edited the day prior as well. Usable but frustrating. Doesn't allow for any trend analysis or history. Fix this and it does everything I need. 3 stars for this until it's fixed 4.5 if it's fixed (5 if there weren't different apps for food and activity tracking)...Dropping because if you log out EVERYTHING (even saved meals) is gone. 75% broken.

Been many years and there's still no desktop access. Remade an account to try this app again only to discover that some of the app (like Settings, Reminders) can't even be clicked. Ridiculous waste of time! I also hate that the sync hasn't been improved in years or made automatic. I can't waste any more time on this app in the future.

Nice interface, but the database is a terrible mess. When I search for a food there are dozens of entries for the exact same thing and 90% of them have wildly different calorie data that are flat out wrong. They clearly are relying on crowd sourcing data from idiots who don't understand numbers or units. The app would otherwise be quick and convenient. Works much faster than the FitBit app. I'll have to spend a lot of up front creating my own food entries with accurate numbers.

One of the things I like best about this app is that I can make my own foods. I have a recipe site and make certain items that would not be on the list, for example, White Chicken Chili with Corn. I have another program on my desktop that has nutritional values for ingredients, so it's just a matter of naming the food and inputting the values from my other program. I keep track, I know if I'm about to go over or not. It's nice seeing how I'm doing as far as Carbs, Protein and Fats. Am I on a diet? Yes. But, it doesn't feel that way. I record what I ate and then I can see how much I have left so I know whether I can splurge or not. It's nice that it also records how many calories you burned during the day. Having a fitness tracker that talks to Google Fit which talks to the Virtual Gym makes it even nicer. The only change I would make to the app is for it to show sugar intake as well, but other than that it's a great app.

I would like to see calorie, carb and fats on items at the same time instead of having to switch back and forth. Also when looking up a food item sometimes it brings up the correct item but gives no nutritional values. It should be easier to find items used for a second time rather than having to hunt for it all over. There is a wide range of values for the same item. Otherwise it is pretty easy to navagate. I do like it.

Great for tracking food. You, however, cannot rely on an app to calculate your specific necessary macro nutrients necessary to reach your goals. I went by the apps recommended nutrients intake for my height and weight, but realized that further adjustment to my nutrients needed to be calculated in order to reach my intended goal. Can't take anything away from the app, it does what it advertises. But you need to monitor your growth and progression weekly in order to remain on track.
