I just bought HEOS controlled speakers, and the HEOS app is awful. That's not Deezer's fault, but I want a streaming service that can control my connected speakers natively from its own app. |

| 2024-11-10 |  | | I'm trying this out and I'm already disappointed. Says it's compatible with Google assistant. I want to use the app hands free in my car. But it can't even recognize a simple command to play/shuffle one of my playlists. It just picks some random album, playlist or song named similar to the playlist (my created playlist) I wanted. You would think it would default to my personal playlist right there on my favorites page? I can see this experiment won't last long. |

It won't let me delete my account until my free trial is over which I tried to end and it won't let me. Its nice it's letting me have it free until the trial period is over but I just want to delete my account and that isn't letting me. It may be my phone but it keeps shutting off the tab during navigating other apps after not even 5 minutes and I kept having to go back in to the app and start over the song. |

I plan on upgrading to premium soon, purely because they're so much less scummy about ads than other services (Looking at you, spotify). If you're planning on going free, pick this over spotify every time. If you're going premium, honestly still better than Spotify. |

Two I've tried. So far, none have impressed me the way of deezer. Deezer is one awesome music app. It's definitely worth the subscription. |
| 2024-10-28 |  | | After switching to Deezer from Spotify for a few years, I have a few gripes about the stability of the app. I still heavily recommend Deezer, but these issues NEED to be fixed. - local file support is good but it is very sluggish. I sometimes have to tell deezer to download a song 3-4 times before it actually gets uploaded as a local file. - downloaded Playlists need serious work. desync is a real issue. - deezer sometimes denies downloaded Playlist access when offline. really annoying. |

It's quality isn't stand out or better than most other music services. How fo you fail so hard at making a music streaming app that is supposed to compete with spotify which is the number 1 streaming service and somehow not make it better than spotify in anyway. The layout is also horrendous and I know I could do better. Terrible knock off spotify. 💫 |

But now I have to pay ~ $11 A MONTH to listen to a playlist I've had for a couple years now while I had it for free? I won't deny it's a good app *if you pay* but they killed the free aspects of the app - and sadly my use of this app. |

However, the offline mode and downloaded music have been plagued with issues for years and it seems like they are no closer to fixing it (just look at reviews over the years). I need downloaded music to work well when I travel. I am thinking about leaving the service altogether. |
