2024-09-25 | David Wedge | 2024 Lincoln Navigator with Sync 4. After a short while, the app causes all Android Auto to stop due to a connection issue. To reestablish AA I have to uninstall the app from my phone, reboot my phone and shut down and restart my Navi. I have downloaded and tried the app on three occasions, each time with the same result and requiring the same fix to get AA back. Everything works fine without this app. It may be something I am doing but for now it is buggy, at least with my Sync 4.
2024-09-14 | Joe Was | Not even slightly accurate & I rely on accuracy since I need it working at an Airport. Use weather apps daily. Temp & everything is way off. Like 10+° off. I'm going to stick with Wunderground & My radar. Which is far more accurate & even look better. Even those have far less ads in the free version too.
2024-09-04 | Bill O'Brien | I love this app. I've deleted all the other weather apps. It's Android auto compatible, very feature-rich and provides great info in a small package. I do wish there was some kind of "motion" to the radar. Perhaps two or three clicks across would be sufficient to at least be able to track a storm coming in. It matters most when driving to know if you're driving INTO or AWAY from a storm. Google allows their own maps to "move" as a navigation. Shouldn't be any different here. TY for a great app
2024-08-28 | Bill Meier | I downloaded this to use exclusively with my Android Auto. I have plenty of other weather apps. I was glad to see that there was a weather app that would display weather radar on my car's screen. Works just fine. With two layers available... precip with and without satellite cloud depiction. Map can be zoomed in or out and panned. Integrates with Google map directions too.
2024-08-21 | Chris Michaud | Seems like a decent weather app, and the fact that it works with Android Auto is a major plus. The one issue that I have with it is the use of nonstandard colors on the radar map. They make things very confusing, especially in the spring and fall, when the possibility of snow/sleet is there. There is overlap in the colors for heavy rain and snow. Which one is it today, a severe rain storm or a severe snow storm? Can't tell because the colors are the same! PLEASE, use standard radar colors!!
2024-07-17 | Joshua Daniels | Love it so far more than others. Tried Wunderground (no lock screen notifications), Weatherbug (radar only North America), AccuWeather, Windy, Today Weather, tomorrow.io, The Weather Channel, and MyRadar in the past. All have their own ups and downs, making it difficult to decide on which one to stick with. But I am currently thinking of sticking with this app. Air quality is always wrong.
2024-06-24 | Brian G | Bought the "pro lifetime ad-free" offer back before this app started charging a yearly fee (or had ads at all)... But then... They switched to an intrusive ad platform, requiring a yearly fee to get rid of them. Anybody who bought the "ad free license" (like myself) years ago apparently weren't good enough supporters, as it did not carry over to the new platform. Yes... This would have remained one of the best apps if the platform didn't change and they didn't screw the early supporters.
2024-06-16 | Dillian Zimmerman | Overall very good. In Android Auto it shows very delayed radar returns. It seems to be about 15 to 20 minutes delayed. Driving north from a town the other day we were watching the weather on the card display and it showed we were in the dark blue area of the storm. That meant a heavier downpour area but it wasn't raining and looking out the front windshield I could see clear skies directly overhead. The rain was clearly off to the east.
2024-03-10 | Scott Bauer | Works with Android Auto. Would be five stars if I could change the color of the selector on the screen in the car to make it easier to see. Right now you can hardly see which selection (layers, settings, zoom in/out, etc.) you're making because the ring around the outside of the button almost perfect matches the background. Other than that this app is perfect on Android Auto. Great information, accurate, easy to understand, perfect for seeing what you're driving into or through.
2024-03-08 | James Yingling | I like most of the features, but there's way to many ads. I realize that ads are the reason this app is free, but there's still way to many ads and they're way to big. Some of your pictures, that tie into your locations aren't even representative of that location. For instance, for my location this morning, Toledo, Ohio, is a picture of Adrian, Mich., a city about 20 miles away from Toledo and only a quarter the size of Toledo. Is this the only picture that you could find? Come on! |
