I like the simplicity of this app. Just what I need to capture my thoughts while driving hands-free. most of these apps compose run on paragraphs. This app separates everything stated when there's a pause and creates lists, with or without bullets.

The controls are a bit strange to get used to at first since everything you do is an individual edit, BUT once you get used to it's filing system it makes classifying and organizing information a snap!!!!

Overall, it's certainly worth giving it a shot! That said, it's a tad...clunky? That said, the app does pretty much everything I want it to. once you learn how it works, the clunkiness can be overlooked, I think. I say it's clunky, but I do also appreciate its simplicity. I guess the balance isn't quite achieved. I've had real-world use from it, though, and since it's free, that gives it a passing grade, easy.

Not as expected. I write as I walk with dictation. If I take a seconds pause, the app stops, and I have to take the phone out of my pocket and click to continue recording. Too sensitive, Most frustrating. NEW LINE OR NEW PARAGRAH do not work as an instruction, so the text, when it actually works, is one solid block of text. having to insert my name in the text so I can find and replace to break up the text is too much fiddling. For me this does not work, sad to say. Two stars

Seems to only make bulleted lists. Every time you take a breath, it creates a brand new entry. Unusable for letters, paragraphs, dream journals or - perish the thought - short stories or novels. Undoubtedly useful for some, what I need is for Google to make its speech to text engine less of a cruel joke at the expense of writers, so I can use it across all the apps I use and am familiar with.

SIMPLE! EFFECTIVE! I wish this app was easier to find (perhaps not popular enough yet to show up amongst others). It's extremely simple to use, voice recognition is adequate for my needs, and the widget function makes it fast and easy to record what's on my mind. Only $5 for ad-free. Don't forget you can click the bottom title "e.g. note/shopping/to-do" and it gives you a list of additional options - like Copying your list/sharing it, renaming it, etc.

Many flaws. There is no command to start or open a new note. The colors are dark red on black - very hard to read. If you pause for a split second, the program stops and reads it back to you. There should be a way to continue your thoughts after a short pause, say 5 seconds, at least. Needs lots of work with a little love thrown in. Better colors that draw attention. Format is OK!

My short term memory has severely worsened. If I don't record or type something right away, it's gone. I had the idea to look for an app to convert my voice to text because I didn't just want recordings of my voice on my phone. I visually need to see the notes. I downloaded a few apps like this one, and uninstalled the rest. This app does everything I need it to and even allows me to customize the notes. I also like that I can organize my notes under specific lists. The widgets are so helpful!

I wanted a really simple way to just keep a list of all the DVD movies in my collection. After looking at what apps were available, I decided to try this to create my own simple list. It is really easy to use and I am so happy with the result! Love the ability to just read the titles and correct the entry, if I need to, and confirm. (Plus, it even gives me the ability to alphabetize the entries. What more could I want!) Thank You!

Try recording how you speak. I am a rapper, and even talking really quick, your app stops if it is not a stream of word. Idk if it is another google clone, but mate, set stop recording at least 2 secs after last word, as it is not usable now. Great idea, appreciated, but people breath between the words sometimes...
