2024-04-24 | Matt H | Chords are presented in the same format as scales. This will make sense until you look at any other chart in the world. I emailed, to request an option to rotate chords into normal convention. They responded, their way is more consistent and maybe they will add it. I understand that it's the neck represented in a consistent way, but it looks just like a chart and is very confusing.
2023-11-24 | Isaac Huddleston | Great app for self-taught guitar players. It gives you all the resources you need to learn skills and to practice. The tuner function is amazing. 10 out of 5. It has helped me progress along my way through music also if you're a songwriter it's a great app to use for writing your own music to stay in the key in the scale and all that good stuff. Nevertheless if you're using a guitar keyboard cello. Saxophone trombone baritone.
2023-10-11 | Lynne Whitehorn | This is the guitar (and general music) app that all other music apps want to be when they grow up. Does everything that I can think of, and I keep stumbling on new features that I hadn't. Very useful, easy to use. Better, when I turned in a couple bug reports and feature requests the dev(s) responded, in person, with bug fix and feature implementation responses. Dang. Just like I've always wanted a software company to be like. Now if I can get them to implement non-Western scales...hmm...
2023-04-08 | Taler Thomas | As far as I could tell, the app was pretty sound. There's good information available, so I paid for a three month subscription to see if I was going to want to commit long term. I was charged and then locked out, and because there's no account to log into im not sure what to do. I can't access any of the unlimited features, just the free ones. All and all not super happy with this experience
2021-05-20 | E Sn (esnow) | A very useful, comprehensive, richly-featured app—but man the UI is EXTREMELY counterintuitive. Gouges with in-app purchases. The hyped Songbook feature sucks; I was very unsatisfied with the purchase but my refund request was denied. You're better off manually googling tabs. Edit: There has been improvements to the UI and they were quick to fix a bug I found. I use this app a lot.
2021-03-07 | Curtis Marz | As a professional musician and teacher I have searched and found no better app out there than this very one. It is a stand out and stands alone as the VERY BEST bar none. I bought the paid version with all the bells and whistles after trying the free version and I guarantee you if you do likewise you will not be disappointed! Chords, scales, arpeggios, tuning, alternate tunings, pages for lyrics, tuner for whatever stringed instrument you play, metronome, drum tracks and more! Best purchace!
2021-01-03 | Gideon Brown | Hands down the BEST GUITAR TOOL APP YOU WILL FIND!!!!!!! I've been using it for years now and it just keeps getting better. It HAS EVERYTHING you could want/need/think of in a practice aid. The free version served me well for a long time. Then i bought a sale bundle. And i'll be finally upgrading to the full/unlimited version very soon. $20+ might sound high, but for what you're getting it's really a steal. No subscription BS. No BS of any kind, really. Just a truly solid tool. Thanks dev!!!!!
2020-12-23 | Marlon Barnes | This is the number one most useful music learning/songwriting tool I've ever used. Period. And i haven't even explored all the features. The only problem i have is the interface is really ugly. The unlimited version is $22 which is a lot, but the free version offers so much with no ads I'm really curious as to what unlimited will offer. Will it do my taxes for me? Make my ex wife love me again? The app is so good, i wouldn't doubt it.
2020-12-18 | Robert Joiner | Pretty remarkable app. If you already have some experience, it can truly help lend creative options when you are exploring options for songwriting. The ability to overlap scales, chords, different instruments, positioning with your chosen intrument(s), 'save' functions, etc... is truly a work of care and detail from a developer that apparently knows what it takes to write songs--both creatively and theoretically. High praise overall. Seems bloated, but truly helpful once you take the time
2020-09-27 | Pete Rivera | Simply love it! This app has simplified my life on many occasions. I've been a musician for 50 years and have played with numerous bands over that time, many times as a last moment fill in. This app has saved my skin trying to figure out chords for new songs to play within a few days. Love that you can create song list, add tempo and even tie a video to it for quick reference. This by far is the most used app on my phone. Thanks to the Developer's for all their hard work! |
