This app alerts you when severe weather is possible. Warnings are issued from official sources when weather conditions have the potential to become a threat to life and property. Additionally a probability indicator is included, where available.
Depending on the country, it warns of weather dangers like cyclones, tornadoes, thunderstorms, hail, heavy rain, snow, freeze, slipperiness, heat, heavy wind, fog, flood or marine warnings.

Few quirks that caused me to uninstall. Yes , you can pick the alerts you want, BUT you can't stop them from displaying. Also, multiple alerts displayed on the app are a problem. For ex, I have a t storm warning, but would not know it because a flood warning is over it. Even when you click on it the flood shows but no t storm warning.. I send an email requesting deselected events not show on the map. Not holding my breath

I use it to track storms in my area and it's very useful. I really appreciate that the full set of features is available just by watching one 30 second ad a week. It's a very good implementation of in-app ads and I appreciate the dev for making it this way

What it does, it does it well... it alerts you when the National Weather Service issues watches and warnings. Also covers other emergency alerts such as quakes, tsunamis, nuclear emergencies - pretty much anything the Emergency Alert System covers. Only caveat is that your Internet connectivity must be working for it to do its thing.
