2024-11-07 | Alfred | Is it possible to render two or more shader files on top of each other with this current version?
2024-10-23 | Nicolas Cardenas | does what it says, and best of all you can put your creations as background! only bad part is that the opengl language specification that they use in this app is mostly unheard of in the rest of the internet, so some tweaking needs to be done to most shaders found online, for them to work on this app. otherwise pretty cool
2024-09-27 | Alyssa | It's fun to use, but the app keeps crashing from broken code, and there seems to be no way to fix it outside of deleting all the data. The app shouldn't try to compile and run immediately on launch - and should also handle fail cases without crashing better. It's also annoying to have errors appear while typing in a way that interferes with typing. I'd personally prefer having to compile the shader on my choosing than have the app automatically try to compile and get these obnoxious popups.
2024-06-14 | Pedro Varela | This is beautiful... The wallpaper option made perfect.
2024-06-05 | Jonah Hamer | This is one of the best (in my opinion the best) apps for programming on android phones out there. I would give it 5 stars but on my phone at least shaders that get even a little complex become very slow to edit and run. Then again my device is quite slow. TLDR: worth learning coding just to use this, the possibilities are endless.
2024-05-19 | Имя Фамилия | Very good app! Although I have problem: trying to inverse uniform mat3 rotationMatrix with inverse(), I get error "no matching overloaded function found". Please help!
2023-12-09 | Geko | The best app to execute shaders on the entire play store, since it's likely the only one. However, I can't recommend anyone use it to actually write code because the keyboard slows down drastically and you'll soon be waiting seconds for every character. I write my GLSL in another app then paste it in this one and it executes perfectly.
2023-04-13 | Atomiz | seems amazing except I can't find a way to set the app as my wallpaper. it appears the app is compatible with my device but there's no custom wallpaper nor anything else in my wallpapers setting that would set this app as my wallpaper. only the default ones show and there's 0 info on where I should look or what should I do. help? android 11 realme ui v2.0 rmx3201
2023-03-11 | Chris S | This rules. I love playing with fragment shaders and this is perfect for messing around with GLSL on-the-go. To others who've just installed: if the constant compile errors and/or shader running in the editor background drive you nuts, set Run Mode to "Run in extra activity" in the app settings. It took me a bit to figure this out, but won't dock a star because the setting is there nonetheless and works fine. 😛 Huge kudos to the app author for creating and maintaining this editor! 👏👏👏
2023-01-31 | Nat Stott | Enjoying editing shaders on the move. Things I'd like to add- additional direction or speed of touch events. A second texture available for storage. Maybe something like compute shader? Some non shader variables that can be controlled by touch events, or sliders to adjust parameters, for example to allow zoom? |
