2024-10-11 | Victor Dyotte | Works SO MUCH better than the official Lifx app. Feature wise its pretty bare bones but all the necesary features are there. I dont see myself using the official app anymore now that I have this. Thank you!!
2024-02-19 | Anthony Tossell | I wanted a lan app for my phone that allowed me to control my lights without any weirdness. This app does that, and nothing more (that's a good thing). Simple, effective, fast and reliable!
2022-08-01 | Yves ROUX | The official Lifx app work not stable on my network, probably due to bad cloud Access. This app has not that problem: it seems to work even without internet access, and that's a big plus (the 4 stars). Why not 5 stars : looks like there is functioning to add, like slow dim up or down to mimic sunrise and sunset at alarm times. If this is present, then I could not find it in the interface. But this app has potential and the author has to be supported to continue the work.
2022-06-25 | Tobi Jackson | Definitely doesn't have as many features as the official app but it sure as hell is more reliable and faster to open. 10/10
2022-02-28 | Vanessa Acheampong | The original LIFX app literally had me going round in circles for 5hours resetting my device. This works instantly. You need to turn off your wifi and connect to the LIFX strip manually. Then go to the app, change the light settings. Only then can you turn your wifi back on. Really thankful this app is compatible as the LIFX strips aren't cheap and was worried I'd have to return them. Many thanks to the developer.
2021-12-18 | David Cantrell | Just what I needed!!! After a solid day of unsuccessfully trying to get the LIFX z to rejoin and connect to the cloud, I install this and immediately have full control of my LED's, which had been sitting on my network unable to jive with the garbage OEM app and cloud. You must use the OEM app to connect to your wifi, then control with this app. Response time is immediate and all traffic remains on your Lan. I'll live without Alexa. Like other reviewers, I would LOVE to give this Dev some $$$.
2021-06-22 | Caleb belaC | Nice work! Works better than official app. Wish i could give you 4.5. If you could integrate with the cloud account so lights could be controlled from anywhere that would be awesome.
2021-03-18 | David Gilbert | I use a variety of LED strips and smart bulbs in my house, and I've enjoyed most of the options that are available. But for someone who isn't very tech savvy, like myself, it can be difficult to use them at their full potential. I like 'em though!
2021-03-10 | : | Would be nice if the app looked a little better but it's alright, it's the most reliable way of controlling lifx lights. Only thing I want is there to be an option to add this to the new power menu on android 11. Or at the very least, a settings tile. There's already an app for tiles but it only allows you to turn ONE group/light on or off.
2021-01-28 | C Currier | Used this after installing....gave me a quick understanding of the light's functions and capabilities. Is simple, and not robust,. But very easy to understand and use. I still don't know how to use the stock 'version 4' app. |
