2024-12-06 | Glen Robinson | Timetable access would be a nice to have. Frequency of a route is hard to gauge. The real time tracking is off putting when a bus is not on time as the icon moves on a route when the bus was meant to start but keeps looping from the start when it is 1,2,3 + minutes late. And that makes me unsure as to where the bus is. The old Translink app didn't do that.
2024-11-28 | Leonard Tiong | New app smashes the 10 year old app out of the park. Much more responsive and informative than the old. Great to see such improvements being offered to the people of SEQ. Cannot wait for stage two release of the app.
2024-11-07 | Steve Peto | This app for it to be the successor of MyTranslink first of all needs some important improvements. - Real time map, i liked how the vehicle constanly moves but when the real time data updates. The app doesnt reflect the position like it does in mytranslink. - Search is not easily accessable. The only search i can find is only to search stops. Not bus routes, tram & train lines and ferries. You have to find a stop and go down to find the route info from there. - Not able to favourite lines.
2024-10-31 | Sammy | this app *will* lie to you, check everything it tells you with another source/map. Realtime tracking is sometimes tracking ghosts. Walking routes are often through bridges that are closed (such as the walking bridge in Brisbane that isn't scheduled to open until December). Walk through walls, or along highways. There also isn't any methods for reporting issues in the app as you see them, which is the antithesis of improvement. This can and should be better, much like TransLink itself.
2024-10-21 | David Orr | Infinitely better than the predecessor... but still a steaming pile of horse 💩. Can't find bus timetables which was easy in the last iteration. Also 'live tracking' on many buses appears inaccurate. Seems like only a few have the transponder, so a late bus appears on the app to have already passed the stop... VERY CONFUSING AND FRUSTRATING!
2024-10-08 | The Ambition of Creation | Not off to a good start. Journey Planner options not fit for purpose. Searching business or other common landmarks doesn't work at all. Screens are way too cluttered. Too many modules by default & you can't resize any of them. Can't move the map, not even zoom. The worst part is that a stop now has departures and arrivals on 2 tabs, incredibly difficult to understand given the outbound & inbound stops are different names and numbers, so it makes no sense at all. The UX absolutely sucks.

2024-09-30 | Nathan Edwards | Seems more responsive than the old app but otherwise not as good. Cannot easily pull up favourite stops / stations like you could in the old app. I can catch multiple bus services which leave from different stops. Having easily accessible favourite stops on the old app allowed me to compare departure (and destination arrival times) of the various services - although it was a bit clunky, it was possible.
2024-09-25 | Stefan Heap | Not sure why my previous review wasn't posted - this app is nothing more than a digital timetable. It does not provide real time tracking, despite what it may say. Please do not rely on this app to plan your journey
2024-09-24 | Stephen Bell | Love the idea of the live map, but in my experience, the locations of the buses have been very misleading. A bus will seen on the map traveling towards the stop, then it will jump 500m back down the road and say it's 5 minutes late, then the bus arrives at the stop moments later. I also watched an imaginary railbus go past my stop one day. At this stage it is impossible to use the live map to catch a bus. I hope you are able to find a way to improve this. |
