2024-11-18 | Peter A Poccia | If you're not sailing, this is the best of the lot. I travel to some off the grid and and highway locations in a 4WD truck camper. This works very well for me. It has a short learning curve. It give me all the info I require, no matter where in the world I go, without drowning me in useless (to me) parameters and colorful maps. I require temperature if freezing, storm and precipitation levels and wind speed and direction. It does this sophisticated, modest priced package. Bravo, Brava.
2024-08-30 | Marcia Domer | Excellent ......would never trust any other source to know, and actually see what's going on. I survived through Harvey thanks to Ventusky.I was evacuated, but still...when re- entering P.A. I cried. So many homes, and businesses ruined. Blue Moon Motel destroyed, Avery's, and many other places. Some rebuilt I'm sure. Some did not. Bragged ,and bragged about such great detail your maps show of when , and where a hurricane is making landfall. This application is extremely accurate. I love it.
2024-01-02 | Neeps mcfly (Neeps) | It's definitely an app for the meteorology hobbyist. I've spent some time w it and it grows in value and interest. It's tough, though, to have all this dehomogenized data points but can't get a simple rain forecast. As much as I enjoy the bells & whistles, I make decisions based on the pros and their "guesswork". And appreciate them for it. I hope you can figure it in soon 'cause I don't wanna lose this.
2023-09-07 | Angelique Holmberg | Great app with many special little features but… I'm a subscriber and I have to constantly reinstall the app because I keep losing my subscriber options. Also, the first time everyday when I open the app, it won't show me the wind and precipitation. I hv to close it and open it again. Every single day! That's not that big of a deal, But having to reinstall the app, at least once a week get very tedious. Losing your saved locations every time I have to reinstall Is annoying.
2023-08-21 | Tanner Edwards | This has the potential to be a great weather app. I have the premium version, but unfortunately there are still bugs that need to be worked out (e.g. the "Meteogram" goes blank when switching between temperature, precipitation, etc.) Also, I would like if the User Interface were just a little bit cleaner when it comes to displaying the data and moving between different charts. The current display feels slightly dated, but that's just me.
2023-08-09 | David McFalls | I saw an update a while ago about webcams being added. I don't see them yet. Did I read it wrong? I was looking forward to that feature. Edit. I don't have the cams option. Disappointed. Why would it only be available in certain areas? I can pull up the website and grant location access and it's available.
2022-10-22 | Paul Arel | Love it, love it, love it!! Particularly useful when in destinations where the weather can vary a lot through the course of a day. I've used for about 2 months now, including traveling to Alaska and Orlando during Hurricane Ian. This app was SO spot on in both situations. Don't even think about it, just reward the developers immediately with a (VERY inexpensive) yearly subscription right out of the box!!! Very well done!!!!
2022-09-29 | V B | I have had Ventusky on my computer since I heard about it years ago. Living in South Carolina and prone to hurricanes, it provides details that you can't get on local weather. With another hurricane coming, I downloaded the app on my phone just to find out that certain features like wind speed and wind gusts are now considered 'premium features' and require a fee. It also warns of in app purchases. I will be uninstalling. Disappointed.
2022-05-12 | Robert Pruitt | For some reason, one part of the app shows time in the standard 12 hour format, and in another it shows time in the 24 hour format.. and there's quite a few settings for choosing between metric(which are ignorantly all set to metric in America...) and "American"(imperial), but no option for time. Also, no progress bar showing time on the radar makes it basically useless. Uninstalled
2022-02-24 | G O | Well I downloaded the app. Install went fine but when trying to access settings, it crashed. Started again, took so long to load I restarted tge app. Same thing happened. When finally started and waited. It finally showed me Europe! Then it asked for location service access which I granted and it pulled up my location but took so long to show me tge region. I stopped the app and uninstalled. Not impressed with all this so staying with online version. I'm running Galaxy A12 Android. |
