2024-12-16 | Mimanshu Shisodia | The app navigates to Bluetooth settings during set up and asking to come back to app after connecting. When navigates to app again after connecting, it again ask to do the same thing. Very strange. It's not even buggy, it just not functional at all. The development team should do proper redesign and fix the issues.
2024-12-07 | Ry Mid | All I can say is wow . Using the motif II ANC earbuds ( or Middleton) with this app is amazing. As a musician and listening to many genres I am really impressed. Crisp tones wether highs , lows or mids . Quite a punch in the bass if you adjust the EQ. Another Marshall standout. I also love how you can customize each earbud to your own preferences .
2024-10-29 | HENRY DUONG | So annoying! I have heard people talking about Marshall headphones, and I took the chance to purchase one when they were on sale. I was so excited to try it and downloaded the app to benefit from all the features. However, the app keeps looping, looking for my headphones. I have deleted the app and installed it again, but it still doesn't seem to be working. Negative star if I could give!
2024-08-28 | Jaimy Murff | My Marshall Emberton 2 works fine, until I try to use the app. It forces me to disconnect then go through an infinite pairing loop where it always says it's searching for my speaker on the home page. Unable to save it as a remembered device and treats it as a new device every time. So the app for me is unusable but the speaker without it is fine. Operating off Android
2024-08-24 | Michael Graham | Every time I want to use it, 8 have to unpair my phone, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and hope the app actually works. There is no just turning on my Bluetooth and the speaker connects. No. It must connect through an app that doesn't work half the time. Love the speaker. Hate the app. Get rid of the unnecessary app middleman and this is 5 stars.
2024-08-08 | Rashad Gattis | The app is still going around in circles from the connection to Bluetooth to still trying to connect to the speaker during the setup process. Still going around in circles even after the most recent update. Update July 3rd: still the same issues. I get the feeling that my phone will be on Android 15 and still have have the same issues with this app. Update July 10th: still the same issues as explained above. Update August 7: still the same issue as explained above.
2024-07-04 | justinmraap | Bought the Emberton II about a month ago, and the product works and connects via Bluetooth just fine. Version 3.2.0 of this app on Android 14 is not functional, however. The screen stays stuck on the "Searching for... Emberton II" prompt and am not able to adjust EQ settings nor update the speaker's firmware, so there is zero app integration with the product right now. The speaker sounds great and is a 5/5, but the app as of this review is a 1/5. [Update 7/4/2024] 3.2.4 now works, thanks!
2024-06-12 | Ina E | Was good, now doesn't work. I like the EQ and anc functions for my MOTIF'S except the app is stuck in a forever loop trying to recognize them. Phone is synced and works. I can't use the touch controls on the physical buds anymore since I can't change the settings without the app. So they're basically 1990ies headphones without the wire now. Not great.
2024-05-29 | Shadow The HellJumper | Pointless app. Equaliser never loads no matter how many times I restart and reinstall the app. It used to work just fine and now suddenly it's broken. I can't tune the bass of my Minor IV's without the app but the app is busted. Thanks for providing us a tool to change the features of your product but said tool doesn't work. This app needs to be pulled until it's fixed.
2024-05-18 | Kitleigh Clark | Fiddly but Good. 4 stars. UPDATE, 5/18/24: Discovered if I open the app, let EMBERTON II connect to Bluetooth, then also connect EMBERTON II [LE], the app works and I have access to the equalizer presets. Hurrah! App update? Fiddling until it works? Who knows. Just happy to be able to use this lovely speaker! FIRST REVIEW: The app is straightforward, but doesn't work on my Samsung Android 14 devices. This means the equalizer is stuck on podcast vocals. No good for music. |
