2023-04-20 | Jason Smith | Nothing but problems with the wifi connectivity of this product. 1. When using WiFi the speaker/app would go off on its own instantiation of Pandora. I could no longer view or control the streaming from my phone. 2. Multi-room never did work. It tried. But even just trying to run 2 speakers it would just skip and stutter. 3. After a year, I thought I'd check to see if they fixed WiFi. Found out it didn't even work at all anymore. Support said try Utility app. That ddn't work either.
2023-03-11 | Jay Chong Yen Jye (iamJayChong) | Connectivity unstable. Confirm not my router or WiFi as none of other devices have issues. Apps is not smooth, drag the bass or treble bar and it will delay few seconds. Everytime connect from Spotify to Marshall take at least 3-5 seconds, at least and some more few minutes. Need to turn off power and on to sort of restart then only can connect again. Very bad experience and given the price I paid, I don't think it deserved premium or even good status. Just bad.
2023-02-26 | Jacob Driessel | But it still doesn't work right. But I think it's an issue with YouTube music? I finally figured it out. When Google was telling me to download the device utility app I thought they were talking about this app, but there is an actual app called Device Utility by Google that allows it to be set up.
2022-08-14 | Chris Mills | I've owned my Woburn Multi speaker for c four years. Having just got a new WiFi router, trying to connect the speaker once again is near impossible. I've factory reset the speaker. When I find the speaker in Google Home, it says the speaker needs to be 'Activated before setup'. I go back to the Marshall app, find the speaker, select it, only for it to then take me back to Google Home. It's a never ending cycle. Does anyone test this stuff before release?
2022-07-03 | Mary T. Foxgrover | App no longer works w/ StanmoreMultiroom speaker (bought 4 years ago). It finds the speaker, but it redirects me to Google Home when I click on my speaker and then Google Home tells me I need to activate in the app? When I go back to my speaker and try to press the wifi button for 3 seconds it jumps back to AUX. I've done factory resets, unplugged and re-plugged. Bluetooth works fine, but what's the point if I can't add to speaker groups in Google Home? Never had this problem before.
2020-11-28 | Tapan Buddhadev | Worthless app. Does more harm than good. Doesn't connect my speaker to wifi. Shame on Marshall they charge so much money for their speakers but cannot provide software support.
2020-11-22 | dileep raj | My Woburn multi room stopped connecting to chromecast which was working until a month before. It still connects somehow to Spotify and air play works but Chromecast doesn't even after multiple setups in Google home, it shows the speaker setup is done, and post that says unable to find the speaker.my phone is pixel 3a xl with latest Android not sure if anything broke in Andriod but I wish you guys also can push a firmware update to latest Chromecast version and support for air play2 etc.
2020-05-25 | Mark Hotop | I found issues using the speaker and connectivity problems prior to downloading the Multi~Room App. Now I can use my ANC headphones and MIDs while both are connected. Just give it a learning curve and give it a study. I just learned that there is Radio stream through the app and you can listen to your favorite radio stations. Just give it a chance and learn the app! Good stuff, I was frustrated at first but am super impressed now that I learned the functions.
2020-05-14 | R. ES | This app is a giant mess. In order for me to use this app just so i can do some extra features on my Stanmore bluetooth speaker, I can't simply link thru bluetooth?? I have to allow Location/ gps access, why? Then allow Wifi access, why, then also download Google home.. especially suspicious about that one; Why?!?!? Way too too much nonsense to simply listen to music. Uninstalled within 2 minutes.
2020-04-26 | A Google user | Forever losing connection, bluetooth activation very difficult. Speaker and app experience extremely poor considering the outrageous expense. |
