2024-07-10 | Chris Gaun | It is a shame but they don't really care about this app anymore after they got bought by Zillow. The searches do not sync with your profile and on the website. It was impossible to click on the activity button for months. This is now fixed. It doesn't save your likes. It used to be the best app around and now it's almost like it's abandoned.
2023-08-20 | Jeremy Turret | This is the worst kind of app. It barely works, but you also NEED it to find apartments in certain cities, so you have to use it even though it stinks. The other commenters are correct. It requires a login every time you open it, it loses all of your saved listings and activity every time you close the app. Lots of features don't work and/or are buggy, and it freezes up all the time....but you don't have a choice, you have to use this app.
2023-07-12 | D C | It rarely gives notifications on my saved searches and when it does, and I tap on the notification, it never, ever takes me to the listing it just notified me about. In fact, I can never find the listing at all. Also, in New York City, I have never had a broker respond to a message through the app. I always have to go to their website and reach out directly.
2023-06-29 | Diana Velasquez | The search function is adequate, but it fails at the second most important function -- saving the listings. What you save on the app does not sync to the website, and what you have saved on the website does not appear in My Activity in the app. In fact, My Activity does not work at all. Tapping it does nothing. Additionally, as other reviewers have said, there is a problem with staying logged in, so you have to do it almost every single time you open the app.
2023-06-16 | Dionna Armstrong | I have like 12 old unavailable properties in my favorite list that won't go away because of a glitch. I've also been signed out of my account while using the app numerous times. Please get rid of the old properties! It's driving me crazy scrolling through them. I might as well not save anything if I'm looking through mostly irrelevant posts.
2023-04-10 | Shaquille John | This app is terrible. There's clearly a problem with authentication as I have to repeatedly sign back in. The UI is also just bad. Margins and padding are not consistent, especially on the login buttons. On top of that, 'My Activity' does not record my activity at all, and this is across web and the app. It's tiring searching for the same houses that i've viewed and saved over and over again
2022-07-26 | Katari Sporrong | Edit: reached out to the developers and got help within a single business day. Original: Login issues abound. Reset my password, restarted my phone. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Still won't take my password. Go in on Chrome browser on my phone, click into a saved search and opens in the app with nearly all my filters wiped out. Streeteasy has some of the best filtering for apartments in NYC, just wish I could save any of it in the app.
2022-06-02 | E M | Installed because UX for hiding a listing is horrible on website. It is even worse on mobile. Half of the time, the swipe is interpreted as 'refresh'. What's wrong with a simple button? While we're at it, why not add it to the website search screen? (1 click instead of clicking the ad, waiting for it to load, then clicking again, and returning to the search result)
2021-12-06 | Alexis Burns | They don't fix the things that are broken in the app. When I click on a listing using the map view, it jumps to another location - far away from where I'm looking! I'm looking for a place in Upper Westside and it sends me to coney Island. The update allows me to swipe to hide listings in the list view....this is a useless feature that I would only care about if the IMPORTANT functions were working. Like adding my work address to calculate commute. WHY WON'T THAT SAVE? That's more important.
2021-09-27 | Phil K | Generally decent app, the apartment info is only as good as the person listing it. For the app though, I find the filtering options to be a little unintuitive. Bedroom count is in the main search but bathroom count is a filter for example. Plus I have an issue where when scrolling up/down, the screen spasms until I stop scrolling. Galaxy note 20 ultra. |
