2024-12-09 | JokerLokison | I love ZEN Pinball from the consoles. I enjoyed top spots on their worldwide scoreboard and played lotsa multi-player with friends I met playing Zen Pinball. This game has all the bells and whistles and great looks. The physics are superior to other mobile pinball games i've played. You can "feel" the ball better with the flippers. You can nearly feel the weight of the ball when you catch and shoot. Not having at least 5 free starter tables is pretty meh... and it may prove too pricey for some.
2024-12-06 | Tracey Kundert | The game would be fine, but the controls are horrible. Particularly the nudging. This is a very important part of pinball. It's impossible to focus on the flippers and also move your fingers way up to the top of the table to nudge it at the same time. There needs to be on-screen, buttons that you can see for the flippers and directly above and very close by there should be 2 nudge buttons, all controlled by the thumbs. That's the only way you could play this game accurately and correctly. Smh...
2024-12-01 | Wingo Chambers | Every day, when I try to downland a free table part in exchange for watching an ad, there is a notice at the end saying "Unknown error, please try again." This happens up to a half dozen times before I finally get my table part. Somehow, though, there's never any error in reaching the server where their brainless ads originate. I really hate this vicious, manipulative company.
2024-11-18 | Kazuma1982 | It's a similar experience to Zen however the constant need to send information only for it to fail or act like YOU don't have a connection when you do says they are still having server issues two months later from what I've read in other reviews. Quite a long time to go without fixing it. When you finish a daily and it errors on the connection nothing pisses you off more than to achieve something and be erased due to an error on their end.
2024-11-13 | twenty2late | I want to love this app so bad. The table selections, the perfect recreations, the game play...all 100% perfect. However, I can't get past the constant everyday server issues. Hour to hour, you never know what will happen. I'm tired of the grind and not getting credit for beating "hard" challenges repeatedly or watching numerous ads for the same lousy +1 flipper or ball skin. Please make it smooth or pull it since you don't support it anymore and release the new app. Even if it's buggy at first.
2024-11-03 | Jade Cocoon | I have to say I'm unbelievably disappointed with this app. I've scarcely seen a more obnoxious setup or startup procedure. You can't skip the tutorial. All I wanted to do was find out if this app had the Star Trek: TNG table available as that's a Williams table. It doesn't. I can only see a few tables not worth my time on their in-game store. And that was a royal clusterfudge to navigate to. Note to Zen Studios: Your UI needs a MASSIVE overhaul. It's the most confusing UI I've seen.
2024-10-16 | Mike Adamson | Ball is predictable, not truly random. the program runs the ball of of the tip of the flipper every time exactly the same! Not truly random like the real thing! I think the problem of having your thumbs above the flipper contact surface can't be as fast and responsive as resting your fingers on the flipper button. A fraction of a second is lost until your thumb makes contact with the screen. I don't know how your could mitigation the difference between a screen and the real thing.
2024-10-12 | Kevin Mcmahon | CLassic Pinball Games...Good time killer, but if you want to play other tables, you either grind to get "Parts" to unlock them, or SPEND $$$. I'm just playing and earning points . So FTP is there, and if you just play to pass time and love pinball, then You will like this game. Physics are good and gameplay is smooth. Adds are only if you want free parts. If not, ADDS ARE ALMOST NON EXISTENT. So Overall... I WOULD AND AM RECOMMENDING!
2024-10-02 | Paul TheSkeptic | I like the tables. They feel real. All the clicks and clacks of real pinball. But I don't like all the bells and whistles. The graphics and points appearing above when you score. The chests. It's supposed to be pinball. So it looses a star for that. It also doesn't work well without wi fi. Even sometimes with it it has trouble loading data.
2024-09-30 | Rob H | Plays surprisingly well on mobile and the challenges are fun. I love when you watch an ad for an extra reward and you get the fetching data "bug" and have to watch another ad. You frequently have to watch 2-3 ads for the extra reward. Once you max out your table parts zen coins drop much more frequently. Currently have all my tables to at least L3, and working to unlock L4 on them all. |
