2024-12-07 | Carl T. | I wish I could rate the app higher. But as they update it. They add more bloat and literally make your watch worse. The accuracy just keeps slipping. Sleep quality doesn't matter when it has no idea when you passed out. It was better before. I could keep going, but I'll run out of space. Edit: Removed a star because the sleep tracking/scores are just so awful now. It really is useless information.
2024-07-03 | Jonathan P | Have owned my Coros since 2019. Loved it initially, but year after year I get more disappointed. Each "update" takes it further away from what I was drawn to initially. The latest is that I no longer routinely get notifications for text messages. Once in a while they'll show up on my watch, but not usually. And when i look at the notifications permissions page, the texting app isn't even listed. Strange.
2023-10-18 | Ashley Brown | I bought the Pace 2 over years ago. But after the newest update, now you're unable to edit excercises reps or weights after workouts in general. I tried finding videos, but the information hasn't been updated for the current version of the app. I knew smart watches have latency issues, but the apps should usually be the backup for updating the data so it can more accurately track user workouts.
2023-09-06 | Ashley Hill | Love my watch! The app is terrible for Android, though! It will not sync or load anything if I'm connected to wifi. If I turn my wifi off, it works great. Also, when my friend (an Apple user) shares a workout with me from her app via text, when I click the link it doesn't open in the app to allow me to save the workout. It's really frustrating. I have to open my texts on my laptop, then open the app on my phone to scan the QR code from the workout in order to save it on my app.
2023-08-13 | Mark Badaracco | The watch is phenomenal. The app is unlike any other app. I only have one suggestion, if I'm a runner or a cyclist then when I view my body heat map it should reflect the workouts I've done with my legs and my core running and cycling on that heat map. Right now you have to actually lift weights with your legs in order to show that you're working on them.
2023-08-13 | Mark Retzlaff | This app is a mixed bag. I actually really like the Pace 2 watch itself, which has great features, excellent battery life, and good GPS accuracy. The app is mostly intuitive and has some good features like mapping (though not as good as Garmin). Where the app falls down is the training load and effort pace algorithm. The numbers are all over the place especially for a trail run. For example, an uphill section at an easy pace will show up as under 5min/mi Effort Pace. Software fix is needed!
2023-07-05 | Mike Weaver | I left Garmin for Coros. I absolutely love the watch and especially the battery life. However, the app alone is making me consider going back to Garmin. There are quite a few basic functions other tracking apps have that this doesn't. You can't even edit a run after it is completed. I've had times when my watch paused and I couldn't go back and edit my time/distance and there is no way to adjust elevation gain. I do a lot of treadmill hill workouts but I can add that gain.
2023-06-22 | Tom Zeller Jr. | Used to be merely serviceable, but you were willing to overlook that because the watch itself (Pace 2) was pretty damn good. But the latest updates to the Coros app have turned it into bloatware, drainng your phone's battery life at double or even triple the speed of prior iterations. The company always claims to have fixed this, but it's never really true, and Coros is hands down the biggest energy hog on my Pixel phone.
2023-05-16 | Sherrie Gibson | Pace2 app suddenly stopped working. The only message is "Unfortunately Coros has stopped". I've reported it over several days with only one email reply to search articles on how to restart the watch. The watch is fine, it's the app that is messed up and I think it has to do with the April 2023 update. In any case, the watch is worthless without the app and the app is useless without support.
2022-12-16 | David Kano | Nice features and pretty easy to use and learn. Suggestions: @ When using help, I should only see the help for the model watch I have connected. @ Please add a function to edit a past session and cut off the end. It is too easy to forget to shut off my session! @ I wish cocos didn't take up space in my notifications all the time. It didn't used to allow me to swipe it away. Now it seems.work! |
