| 2024-12-02 |  | | The app and website need more ways to sort photos, such as by date and popularity. I suggest putting the newest ones first by default (at least after an approval process), to give them a fair chance. I also think photos should be split into pages if there are too many in a section, instead of having an infinite scroll. |

Pages often freeze, features don't work consistently, and navigating through it feels like a constant struggle. Using the Yelp website—while much more stable—repeatedly redirects you to download the app when trying to access features like viewing more photos. It’s irritating and feels like they’re forcing you to use an app that simply doesn't work well. Fix the app or stop forcing users onto it. |

The reviews don't represent the places it does show both on the good or bad side. I know all apps main goal is to gather info to market to you, in exchange, you get what you expect out of the app, this app takes all your data and gives you nothing in return . Uninstall, Google maps is much better for reviews. |

Especially when I literally can't do that on my computer (outside of e.g. BlueStacks), which is where I normally interact with my texts. A confirmation should take two clicks total, including navigating to the page. Can't wait for the canned response about being "encouraged" to download the app for its superior user experience. The absolute gall. |
| 2022-12-17 |  | | The last few versions of the app has been horrible. Every time I try to filter, it just says "no results, try again". I refresh the app and sometimes it shows results, sometimes it doesn't. Happens on both my phone and tablet. The bookmarks are also difficult to go through. I have a lot of bookmarks and the city filter that's on the website would be helpful on mobile. Yelp has been around for so long, what happened to the app?? The check in feature is also broken. Just crashes |

The top 1/5th of the app is blocked off by a white bar, which covers whatever is up there. You can see the bottom portion of whatever is up there but you can't see or click on it. |

UPDATE: Haven't a clue what happened to the site but who ever updated the features of the filtering and sort features need to try it out before they send it out to the public. In it present form I don't even bother using your your App anymore. It's garbage as I see it now. Google might as well drop it in Play Store. Don't bother. |
| 2021-11-08 |  | | Website SUCKS! Mobile site will not detect location (allowed), nor will it search by zip code. Going to the map freezes the page at the bottom so you can only see a sliver of the map and you can't scroll up. No option to open the full site over the mobile site. Shameful. Thankfully, the app is MUCH better! Searches kept trying to default to San Francisco, even though my location is turned on and I have my city in my profile. It was annoying to have to change the search filter each time. |

Also, I have been getting "something funky happened. We are aware of this issue and will be fixed soon" popup often for weeks, yet it hasn't been fixed. Both have been issues for a long time. I'm seriously considering using Google instead with all these bugs. |

So annoying and frustrating because even on the web on my phone if you want to look at details on a page it forces you to use the app...which doesn't work! It's been like this forever and none if the updates fix it. I tried reaching to have it fixed. No response, UNINSTALLED. |
