2024-11-22 | Steve Mays | So Apryse has been listening and for the next two days is offering a year of the app for $9.99. I think this is a quite generous offer and hope that they see enough people taking advantage to continue to offer the app at this or a similar rate on a yearly basis. Though I prefer single payment apps Xodo is certainly worth a reasonable yearly cost up to $20. The $9.99 is good for a year. Go take advantage now and hope that they continue to offer a reasonable yearly rate.
2024-11-21 | Ki Jar | 11/21/24 Useless to me now. Deleted today. Learning new app now. Every editing feature is now paid feature which I would pay for but I'm not paying an expensive perpetual subscription for an app I can't justify it's return financially, especially when I have free or cheaper options. I'm sure most of the people who used the app early on would have pay a reasonable flat fee because they were used to the app. ------------------ Love it. Easy to use. Gets the job done. ***** REVIEWED: 11/23/17
2024-11-08 | ANGIERFIELDS | Xodo was one of the first PDF editors I ever tried and is still my go to. I love how easy it is to convert just about any type of file including pictures into a pdf. The free version gives me everything I need. If ever I do need to do something that the app does not support, I share the file to an app that does , complete the task, then share it back to Xodo for completion. The included cloud storage is a nice bonus !
2024-10-26 | Saoirse Kennicott | As of this past update, they made the rearrange/delete/add multiplr pages at once a premium only feature. That, combined with other features being locked behind a prescription, is making me look for a different app. I didn't mind the addition of a mandatory watermark, but I certainly mind having one of my most used features be locked behind a pay wall
2024-10-22 | Alex Harkleroad | It used to be an excellent free pdf viewer with some simple editing abilities. Now you can no longer even export or send a copy without paying a $12/month fee or getting a watermark. At least you can still export and share from the file browser though. As soon as they try to charge to even save a PDF without a watermark though, I'll be deleting the app.
2024-10-01 | Jude Chaer | This PDF editor has truly impressed me with its performance. Its functionality on Android devices is unmatched, providing a seamless and efficient user experience. The compatibility with Samsung DeX elevates its usability, offering a desktop-like environment. One of if not the best pdf editors on android and especially for Samsung DeX.
2024-09-25 | Trina N. | Great app! Waiting for update that will allow users to: 1) copy and paste text between Xodo and other apps (like a browser or task app) 2) allow text boxes to be drawn or resized BEFORE the user starts writing on the page. 3) change the transparency of images users add to the page 4) dragg images from browsers or Samsung gallery into a xodo note page. That would be a real game changer! It would put this app right on par with Samsung Notes, Penly and Goodnotes
2024-09-18 | j baer | They still don't get it! People aren't paying for basic features that should be free. Your watermark doesn't belong on MY documents, EVER. Period. I'm not paying to remove this annoying setting. Get rid of it, or I'll find another app. And I shouldn't have to select whether to do it EVERY TIME, especially when I can't remove it without paying. They tried this kind of nonsense a few years ago by charging to have multiple tabs open, and it backfired wildly. Somehow they didn't learn their lesson.
2024-09-12 | T. C. | This app is great, but it baffles me that they add a watermark to the pdf when using the share functionality. Not only can you share with system tools without the watermark, but Xodo's share function didn't previously add the watermark. They _explicitly_ added it to make the non-premium experience worse. Before that I would have been open to a small, one time payment of the app for its full features, but I'm not paying a subscription for this.
2024-09-06 | Ted Fink | Great app!! I needed something to fill out forms and sign documents. I was amazed and delighted that this actually did the trick. But ... After using it and really liking it, it suddenly threatened to put a watermark on the PDFs unless I subscribed. They want $12 a month or over $100 a year. Using it as I do, maybe 2 or 3 times a month, it's outrageous. I'm sure that most users, like me, uninstall when receiving this ultimatum. They should have a light use plan. |
