I love how customizable it is and how easy it is too add your own little guys to it, I do wish there were a couple more default options but that's not entirely a complaint because of how easy the customization is, what I do have to complain about is how a majority of the time the wall climbs and the ceiling climbs do nothing at all, they mostly just stand there doing nothing and only rarely do they even move, only to jump off and move a whole bunch on the ground. |
| 2024-06-15 |  | | I like this app because all you have to do is put the character you want in a green screen in different poses and moves and then you go to ibis paint and edit the background how it's supposed to be (You can search in Google how to do it) and then you put the pictures in and then your all set! I love this app I rate it 1 5/5 |

When ever I tried to import a file using the From The Scratch!, it keep stopping and then exits, not letting me import the file, if you ever notice this, please fixs this! I assume this as a bug |
| 2024-01-13 |  | | the app is good in general, I downloaded it and created my own shimeji from scratch, and it all works pretty well. the only issue I've found with it is that when the smimeji clings to either the wall or the ceiling, the animation doesn't play and just freezes. I've tried removing frames, deleting it all and restarting, closing and re-opening the shimeji, and it doesn't work still. |

There are no ads that bother you and the option to import your own animation frames is amazing, although, the app tends to cut off parts of the pet's animations while playing...but that is a very small issue for me. This app doesn't work well with older versions of android, as noticed by a friend. I use android 11 though. Overall, best app for custom shimeji pets!!! |
| 2023-07-08 |  | | It's a wonderful app with lots of potential, but whenever I try to import something, it closes the app. Then when I go back to the app instead of the shimeji I'm trying to get it's just a blank slot with what I named it. I open the blank slot and it's the landcrab one. I have emailed them though, so hopefully they can fix it. When/if it gets fixed I will change the rating to 5. |
| 2023-01-29 |  | | when i try to import shimeji files, when i click on allow access to downloads, the screen turns black and the app kicks me out. after reading other reviews, it's apparently not just me that's experiencing this. please fix it, because i really love this app but being restricted to only the preloaded ones is annoying. |
| 2022-11-13 |  | | This is a perfect recreation of the desktop Shimejis through and through! Really appreciate the ability to customize the animations. I've been making some Shimeji of my own and they are such an adorable thing to have. Not really important to the experience, but it would be neat to be able to manually select what behavior a Shimeji carries out, like in desktop, perhaps by long pressing one. |

I have also restarted my phone and the app continues to not work. I do not suggest this app to anyone who is in a small fandom and has a SHIMEJI file that isn't popular. I would rate this app 0 if I could. |
| 2022-08-26 |  | | I will start by saying I only allow one pet on my screen, so I do not have any experience with paid version or multiple pets. With that said, I love this app! Love that I can choose the size of pets. I was able to completely make a pet from scratch on my husband's phone with hardly any frustration, so very user friendly for custom pets. Love that I can also edit downloaded pets. Yes, it can get in your way, but I've always seen shimeji (desktop versions too) as purposefully annoying little guys. |
