2024-06-27 | Jonathan Deliduka (BrainPlay3004) | Great game! I love the rotational aspect of the charting. It gives the game a great flow and movement option. The story is pretty good too with it's extra stunt charts which turn a few normal songs into little mini games focused on a specific gimmick like turning your device vertically, dodging mines, or memorizing patterns. It's also a great portable game. You can play it in a car just fine. I've even played it while waiting in long lines for amusement park rides. Keep up the good work! 😁👍
2024-06-08 | Nathan S | EDIT: 6/8/24 This game was enjoyable, but I have since begun having stuttering and framerate issues during gameplay. This makes it difficult to perform well, and impacts my ability to enjoy the game. Even after a reinstall (and a complete factory reset, though that was unrelated), I am still having errors. I use a Pixel 7 Pro, running a public release of Android 14. I did not have these issues in the past, even with this same device. A friend with a 7 pro as well is also not affected.
2024-05-30 | William Motz | I love this rhythm game so much and the new update that just released but there is one issue I have so far that the previous version didn't have. The game will freeze quickly then go back to normal speed but all inputs when it does freeze won't be registered so it screwed me up a few times. I've tried alot of things to get this issue to stop like limiting the number of frames to 60 to 90 FPS but didn't work. It could be my phone doing this but I ain't sure.
2024-05-30 | JestfulCompany | Very fun and original rhythm game with surprisingly responsive controls. I play other rhythm games and was getting FC all perfects on difficulty 2 of 4 songs. The only disappointing thing is that there's not enough difficulties. 2 is way too easy for me and 3 is too hard because I don't like flick notes. Wish this game had a modifier tab like Quaver. Something like replace flick notes with press. Also a little too cutesy anime for my liking but that's just the rhythm game market at this point 🤷
2024-05-29 | Frederic Lin | Lost all songs and progress, doesn't look like they're coming back. Whatever update they've made between the initial release and now has completely screwed me over. EDIT: God damn this game is too fun. Restarting didn't stop me, and frankly, I don't think I'll have to restart again. The game is cool and the devs make this fresh for their players. Their charts and song selection have gotten waaaay better over time. The game stopped feeling like a grind.
2024-05-24 | Holfrisky | My favorite rhythm game from a gameplay standpoint! The charts are fun and satisfying, and the skill floor/ceiling is very good. I enjoy all the extra challenges and events as well. My only gripe is how much is behind a paywall(a majority of the songs), but you can still get a pretty good experience without paying more than the initial app price. Overall, a very good game I've been playing consistently for the 2 years since launch.
2024-03-09 | Crona | Idk why I didn't edit my review since playing. It is still super cute and they added lots of songs. Many are free and the events are a great idea. Previously left a 1 star review because I didn't know how to sign back in. I contacted support and they were very helpful in helping me get it back (over a year ago) Sorry to the team for the delayed update. Love the app, Rotaeno is among the top 5 rhythm games of all time for me.
2024-03-07 | Bunniez | (Rotaeno's been out for a while so time for a updated review :D) honestly rotaeno has to be my favorite mobile rhythm game that isn't arcaea. There's a lot of packs now with a good selection of songs (I love vocaloid) and the charts for each song are js as good. The main gameplay feature is obviously the rotation, which is really what makes it stand as one of the best Mobile rhythm games. Besides the songs and gameplay the story didn't feel like something put there js to be there and not be good
2023-02-19 | Thaao Hanshew | This is a fantastic, fun, and challenging game. I will play it for a long time to come. Here are my complaints: - Miles and Badges max out which actually discourages you from playing the game once you clear the story even though you have a ton left to do. - Game stutters sometimes on Galaxy S23 which is very bad for a rhythm game. Has ruined my FC many times. Most of the time is fine though. And that's it :) great game, I highly recommend to any fan of rhythm games. One of my favorites easily.
2022-12-02 | Jeremy McKinley | This is a master of the rhythm game genre. Love it, so good. Unfortunately the rotate notes makes me very dizzy, to the concern of seizure (and I'm not epileptic). If there was a way to disable the lights with those twist notes I think I could enjoy this all the way without worry, and give it the 5 stars it deserves. |
