| 2024-11-14 |  | | My phone's internet browser kept opening on its own. I disabled it & went through the motions of figuring out why. I couldn't find an app that was doing it. I knew it had to be a virus but don't remember clicking anything. I downloaded this app and ran a scan and it found the virus within seconds. I tried to find the virus myself again but couldn't. But McAfee gave me the option to uninstall it, I did. My phone is back to normal! I did another scan the next day and no virus detected! Great app! |

Today I check my bank account and see they upped the charges to over $150! I didn't know they raised the prices nor did I know my subscription was at renewal. Theres no simple way of refunding either, you have to call them and argue with them to get your refund. They are scamming people be wary! |
| 2024-10-19 |  | | VPN is giving nothing but issues for all my installed apps. Whether it's turned on/off and even if the individual app is turned on/off. Some apps want it on, others off. The definition of tunneling is unclear. Does toggling on mean it bypasses VPN to prevent issues or do I need to unselect it to prevent issues? And don't get me started on the fact that my app logs me off randomly as well as turns off my VPN without warning. Not much protection there if I have no idea I was logged out. |

Apps in places I'd like to be on the vpn like a fast food stop, and their app hates the vpn. I'm not that trusting, and the cell service sucks for using the app, too. It also stays on at home when my network is trusted? I'd love to get in your beta version. Trying for long time |

Also, the latest update when you go to turn on the safe browser and the VPN, turning one on turns the other off. Now they are both off. It should not matter if your connection isn't perfect -- both the safe browser & the VPN should AUTOMATICALLY reconnect, period. I can't be the only one this is happening to; NOT a happy camper. 😡😡😡🤬🤬 |
| 2024-10-02 |  | | Loving the protection this app is giving my phone and me. I do wish it would allow option to add trusted sites. Also, the vpn will auto turn on even if manually turned off. This makes using certain apps, like the ones I use to pay various bills, a real inconvenience because it either won't allow them to open or will greatly restrict their functionality. |
| 2024-09-20 |  | | The app has been constantly breaking recently, as in I open it, and I'm stuck looking at the logo. This leads me to uninstall the app and reinstall, which for some reason makes McAfee think that the same phone I was using minutes to a few hours before ISN'T THE SAME PHONE. This makes me have to remove a device from the plan, but I don't have a delete device button on my account, so I have to sit in a 30 minute chat with an assistant to remove the phone before re-adding it. Terrible. |
| 2024-09-04 |  | | I can't believe you are not able to detect this issue within your own app. Why does it constantly ask me to add the same wi-fi s to my trusted wi-fi over and over. Seems it can't recognize the wi-fi. I have added the same ones numerous times, but yet it still turns on the vpn when I access them and asks me again. That is pretty poor development. I don't think it is unique to my phone android version 14. |
| 2024-08-24 |  | | It keeps notifying me that it's on, every time I enter or exit a safe application it shows up, and it seems to be on a ten minute timer between notification, or maybe 5. It's annoying and kinda unnerving at times. Watching YouTube about fictional villains, boom the notification pops up; The app's good and it's trusty, but it doesn't let you breath. Update: turning off notifications only works until you shut off your device, when you turn it back on, it turns itself back on. That should be fixed. |
| 2024-08-10 |  | | I'm having an issue with my not being able to turn on my McAfee Antivirus VPN. The safe browsing setting works but not the VPN. This just happened today. I've been using McAfee for years and this has never happened. I've always been able to get it to work. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it many times but it refuses to work no matter that I have all the permissions on. It's discouraging to have a McAfee Antivirus VPN subscription for years and suddenly the VPN setting doesn't work at all. |
