2024-11-25 | Jamie Williams | I really don't understand the point of this app. I can't sign in. Any time I've tried, it says they've run into a problem, so I can't really use it for all it's supposed to be used for. I have it set to scan at 3am - it never does. It scams at random times throughout the day, which really slows my phone's productivity.
2024-11-13 | Craig Jennings | I bought my phone and I've had the T-Mobile McaFee security for years. They turned half of it off and want you to pay. T-Mobile said I would have it for Life Just the way it was not taking features away and asking you to pay. None of it was worth anything to start with uninstall it. You'll see a noticeable improvement in phone function. My Wi-Fi is secure as it can get. I never use public wifi Why would I, I have unlimited data. It may be slightly slower, but it's secure.
2024-10-24 | Blessed “TT” One | I Really would like to know why is it necessary to know my location at all times just to scan my secured wifi. It will not scan at all if I don't allow location access at all times. It doesn't make any sense and I do not like it all! I will be looking for another device protection. If you want more protection you have to pay which it should be free with service. I rather Tmobile offer that than useless and uninteresting perks every Tuesdays. The is Jury still out on this app. So far 2 stars.
2024-10-17 | Arwen Pritchett Freer | Had to uninstall because it's driving me crazy. Every time it checks an app, it dings a notification at me, and it will only check apps at random times in the middle of the night, so it 8s constantly is waking me up multiple times each night. I changed scan time setting for only daytime, and even turned off its notifications completely, but nothing works and I'm tired of living with this little terrorist constantly disrupting my sleep.
2024-09-22 | Tanya McKie | Too many nuisance alerts. Every night I kept getting woke up with alert after alert. I tried turning off all categories except critical notifications and still keep getting an alert that it's turned on. I know it's turned on, so why is that so critical it needs to wake me up? I finally had to disable all notifications which defeats the purpose of having the app in the first place. I want to know when something bad is happening immediately, but I shouldn't constantly tell me everything is ok.
2024-09-10 | Stephen Chapman | Doesn't do what it's supposed to... something keeps turning off the apps authority & shutting me out of my wifi, bluetooth & data. But it's using them in the background still. I already had Microsoft Defender installed & that "caught it" as an alert & lengthened my time unlinked. I installed Bitdefender with the same results, even with app lockouts turned on. I reset my wifi & disconnected my wifi card from my pc, as well as pulled the ethernet cable. I believe it may stem from the router or pc
2024-09-09 | Benjamin Burr | DO NOT INSTALL. Not only does it not work like they claim it does but it makes your phone freeze, lag, and glitch out so badly that your phone will completely malfunction. Used it for a year, thought I was going to have to get a replacement phone until I uninstalled this POS app; now suddenly my phone works just fine. Found it interesting that when I took all my info out of the app my security score went up by over 100pts. 1 star isn't low enough to emphasize how much this app SUCKS.
2023-12-06 | Adrienne Daugherty | I really like knowing my devices are protected. However, I have noticed in the mobile app in the last 3 days, since I restarted my phone, the app keeps sending a message about a new notification, but when I check, there is nothing there. I tried doing another restart, but that hasn't worked. I get this notification about every half hour. It's a bit annoying. This is new in the last few days. Edit: There was an update available yesterday. I was able to clear the notification! Thank you!
2023-10-18 | Garrett M | Feels less and less like an anti-virus and more like an ad for other services. There are so very few options related to scans, even things like making sure your definitions are up to date are gone. Mix in its poor notification management (Need to update 10 apps? It's going to give a separate notification for each, back to back, then you can accidently close the app trying to clear it) If this wasn't part of my phone plan I wouldn't be using it.
2023-08-23 | Jason Usner | Horrible. The only option I get when I go to app is, "Let's try that again... We ran into a problem. Try one more time. " I've tried a hundred more times, including uninstalling and reloading. NOTHING WORKS, especially not an app created by a company whose main business is creating software to protect against malicious attacks. If they can't get simple software correct, I'm not trusting them to protect my info. Criminals will win that battle every time. |
