2024-02-20 | Michael Torres | This app sucks, misleading, and useless. I paid 30 USD, for what I thought was a 1 yr subscription. Why should I be forced to pay another fee, too enable the useful services of the application? I think the product packaging is very misleading. And the fonts are way to small too read. So basically I paid for a direct link too their servers. And if I wanted the service, I thought I paid for, I would need to pay an additional 79 USD? Also, I would need too grant full permissions for the app. Why?
2024-02-15 | Joseph Johnson (Joe) | A lack of technical transparency, in favor of usability, only obfuscates the consumer's ability to discern whether of not the "safe browsing" functionality is sufficient for their needs. If I'm using this app, I'm forced to decide whether or not this app should replace my VPN (which I've already paid for and am confident in its functionality meeting my needs). Since I can't use both at the same time (this software & ANY VPN), it leaves me concerned but mostly disappointed. UX is missing focus!
2024-02-07 | Debby Mazzella | I am having a problem with this app not showing that I am protected. I used to have a notification at all times that this app is constantly running. This started happening after I got a notification the other day from this app that "I paused my notifications," which I never did this. All I know is that the recent updates from Samsung Galaxy changed some of the preferred settings I like! I understand that this happens a lot, but really? I want this notification. Please fix this!
2023-09-27 | Sarah Anzora Newbert (Mrs. Newbert) | UPDATE- Stopped working. Again. I've been 2ith you guys for a decade, metro. Very few issues, and when Ive had any I've had absolutely amazing store associates to go to who have bent over backwards at every turn to help me out. When I've had to call the Metro hive mind, even though 9 out of 10 times none of you there have the same information, you are at least usually understanding & helpful as you can be. Not anymore. Sucks. **** Excellent app. Easy to use, doesn't disrupt normal phone use.
2023-09-20 | Allen “Amateur. Athlete.33443” | Why does this app arbitrarily stop working? I pay for this app monthly through my MetroPCS account. I hope this bug gets fixed. The VPN is important to me. However, The VPN arbitrarily stops working regularly. Like every time I turn it on. It'll run for a few minutes, then shut itself off. Very frustrating! I understand that the app is very inexpensive. However, since I am paying for it I would like it to work.
2023-04-24 | nfmeyer (SatStar1) | Recently, the app stopped working. It began asking me to verify that I am a Metro subscriber, which I am. It sends a verification code via SMS and after I enter it is when the error occurs. It says it's unable to verify my number and closes. I called Metro which was a horrible waste of time. They couldn't say what happened when I've been using the service and app since 2019! Instead, they offered a free year of McAfee Identity Protection but that doesn't actually fix anything and I'm frustrated!
2023-04-19 | Lisa Stephens (Lisa Joi) | I don't like the fact that backup has been removed. The reason given was "in order to streamline my services". Exactly how does that make sense and enough difference to warrant removal of phone's backup security? It honestly makes me feel a bit uneasy and incomplete. Thanks for the protection that still exists. It's pretty good. But I do have another concern. I keep getting messages to my drive saying that someone with a pornographic name is sharing a file with me.Files disappear. 2x Scary..
2023-02-17 | A.R. WB | Well, it's decent for 3 bucks a month but it doesn't auto update. I had to Uninstall and reinstall for that and it's no walk in the park, because you basically have to let it access everything. The antithetical and remote lock requires a subscription with McAfee, and Samsung Knox let's you do the same thing for free, so I chose not to activate that with McAfee. Also, if you have issues with the app, good luck, because absent a subscription, McAfee won't help you, and Metro can't do tech supp
2022-05-17 | Shanae | The app is decent, does what it says it does. However, sometimes the real scan will just stop running and the app lock is overwhelming aggressive! I have to put in the password literally every 2-5 minutes. For example, if I go to check texts... I unlock it & I can click a message and read it, but if I hit the back button to go back to my text list I have to enter the app lock password again!!! Same for emails, photos, etc... If I'm using an app why is the app lock running after I've unlocked?
2022-03-22 | Black Owned | This application worked perfect until the switch. All of my phones have the same error, my email address is associated with a different number. Metro can't help McAfee keeps sending me to Metro. There doesn't seem to be a cell phone department. They keep linking my home devices to my cellular device and I can't use the apps features. This is a horrific experience. You can't get through on the phone. |
