2024-10-28 | sameer khan | It's my first time I'm reviewing with this eagered heart. I appreciate its translation feature and all that stuff, but I seriously want to mention one issue, can you add a frequent copy pop up. whenever, I copy the text it pops up like Hindi to English dictionary which also have the same feature. It would be alot more helpful and the user base would also increase with this single feature update for sure
2024-10-16 | Siddhant | Hands down the best digital dictionary out there. It's lightweight, without ads and easy to use. I became a user more than a decade ago on the desktop version and I have since not stopped using it. I did explore other apps but kept coming back to this. The only con I find is, some words are defined by words which perhaps I don't know, I click those words to know their definition but they are defined with the original word I'm searching.
2024-10-05 | anon machina | I propose that...lookup, search, recent, bookmarks, x–ref...all be placed in the same location in which 'lookup' and 'search' presently reside—limiting the others to a menu, hidden from plain view, only renders the app cumbersome.
2024-09-25 | Al Kawsar Rahman | To be honest, I have not ever seen this kind of dictionary, I appreciate you "Dear Developer" Do you want to know which I liked? when I search 1 word and this app provides me different forms of this specific word but one problem is don't provide synonym and antonym, please add this. please another one feature add which is very important for learners "shortcut bar" on display of this app, as we can easily find any word meaning, when we browse internet. ❤️❤️❤️Thanks a lot❤️❤️❤️
2024-08-29 | anand kishore | The best dictionary in English. Even better if you add the widely accepted worldly vocal pronunciation for all words in free version soon, and best feature would be to add Hindi Marathi or few regional Indian or respective national alternative meanings to most words ✌️☺️
2024-08-21 | Caleb Beddes | Incredibly useful. I could not be happier with this app. No ads no fluff. Just a solid offline dictionary. Developers did an excellent job on this. You can misspell a word and find the entry. It shows you words that have similar spellings just in case. A+
2024-08-07 | Taw Drago | I had this app for well over a year, it worked great as a dictionary app when you were offline. The latest update makes it constantly want to be online so that totally defeats the purpose of having it installed at all since you can just look up words in a browser if you are online. Anyway, they broke it, I uninstalled it.
2024-08-06 | Phoenix HO | I love the app so much, and I've been using it for years now. I'd have given it 5 stars if not for the recent problem I've been having when trying to use it offline. For some reason, if I'm not connected to the Internet, I get redirected to Google Play Store. I hope this gets fixed soon. Thank you again for such a wonderful app.
2024-07-25 | Adam Sequoyah | One of the best dictionary apps around! Yet only 3 stars. I super appreciate the absence of ads. I wish it offered audio pronunciation. But worse than that is the difficulty with conjugations. It's very hard to find the conjugation you want. When you're in the root word only a few conjugations show -- and they aren't labeled. Sometimes it's fine; but there's no consistency. Case in point: if you want to "clue someone in" you will be cluing them in. Or clueing them in. Which is it? Can't tell.
2023-09-18 | Anderwriter | I like it! Wildcard search, dark mode option (despite the apparently somewhat outdated screenshots), the ability to jump to any word's definition by tapping it… All the features you'd want are here. I'm really curious to know what it's based on, tho. Is it a port of Wiktionary, or some other non-copyrighted dictionary? I don't think so, because they'd be credited, right? So is it completely original? Mysterious. |
