2024-11-26 | Mike Salinas | Removed following the evaluation. I am not a fan of the default being an auto-subscribe after the trial. You don't need a credit card for a free trial, you need it to bill me. Too many "free" offers proving difficult or almost impossible to cancel or unsubscribe, that I won't be doing that again. If it was valuable to me, I'd make the effort to continue.
2024-11-24 | P-4 | 2 very good reasons never to download this app: They couldn't find my account with a provided transaction ID, so I lost all my history. I never would subscribe again f9r that reason, but wait. The streak counter is messed up and I've verified it multiple times after completing streak days that were not counted.. *The developer should probably practice some of these games.*
2024-11-23 | Will R.H. | umm. Normally, most of these "brain games" are cheesy, dull, and non-informative, making them - well, just a waste of time. This brain game, however, made me eat-my-own-words of judgment. Elevate is an absolute blast of an experience. Very well thought out. Educational (Who'd have thought I needed Subvocalization reduction🤔🤔🤔). Fun. Challenging (definitely brushing up on fractions. haha). I've outgrown games in every way possible - Elevate has made me reconsider. Cheers to the developers!
2024-11-23 | Maygan Bynum | This is a really fun game if you love to learn and like feeling your brain actually working. I'm 28 and haven't been in any school since I was 19, and it definitely shows when I play this game! I'm happy I can learn in fun and intriguing ways, knowing I am improving on certain skills like speaking, reading, writing, and memory during social situations. The yearly price is at a good price too, but I do wish that the lifelong subscription wasn't so expensive..
2024-11-22 | Cynthia Brosnan | *Keeping Elevate. It works so much more of my brain. Especially, Math which is my slowest skill. I enjoy this app immensely and would have given it 5 stars until developers added "streak freezes"! Either I play or I don't! What's the purpose of the lie? I much prefer the NYT'S games. If you miss a day or fail to solve, you go back to zero. Streak freezes are like Participation Ribbons for little kids at fair. They mean nothing. I'm considering dropping Elevate and just going to NYT.
2024-11-22 | StrifeDeli | The stats are set up to have you begin with lower scores. Instructions in the first game are not clear, leaving you to figure out how to play the brain game, resulting in incorrect answers, loss in time, or both. You, therefore, get lower scores to start. Designed to make you "think" you're improving, when really you just eliminate the crutch. Predatory app.
2024-11-17 | Mandy Stephenson | Elevate is the best app I have tried for brain games. It is challenging yet not overly so, and I have progressed and improved my abilities while still genuinely having fun. Elevate tracks your stats and compares them to other players, so you can see where you stand among everyone else. The games keep you engaged; even if you have played them all many times it doesn't get boring. Elevate is the only app I need for brain games, it is by far superior than the rest. I highly recommend! Love this app
2024-11-15 | David Newman | Update 11/15/24. Unfortunately down to 2 stars because they won't reply to my concerns about repetitive content. Disappointing because otherwise it's great. They simply don't seem to care. I've been using the paid version for about 9 months now; every day. I would love to give it 5 stars, but it has one major flaw. The memory content is extremely repetitive. While the supposed difficulty level increases, I keep getting the exact same content.
2024-11-15 | Wheatley | Some of the games are just pointlessly easy. The percentages one repeatedly asking me how much a percentage of 100% is? Waste of my time and pops up too often. Difficulty needs to increase across the board upon repeated success at the same level or there's no point of playing.
2024-11-12 | Maya B | I did enjoy the app, but I was left disappointed with the fact that on the games I was only able to play one, because all the others were locked since I didn't have a subscription to the app. I wish more eeucational games like elevate had more options for those who can't assess the ability to pay for the subscription they have. |
