2023-01-22 | Michael Collinson | Totally baffling overly clever app UI/UX. For Pete's sake use menus. Hardware would be wonderful but need to return home to unplug / replug when it loses connection - completely undermines use as a remote monitoring tool when I am away. Please keep trying, could be great. 2023 Update: A great shame, a lovely camera and connectivity has improved but the company seems to have just given up with the app. How can I know if I am looking at up up to date view? Why no time stamp? Where is audio? Etc | |
2020-10-15 | Chantal | My Nokia Home Cam used to work great...but for the past few weeks there is no picture or sounds...it just keeps saying "loading" on the app when I want to see the live stream. Nothing has changed with my internet either....so frustrating. Edit: so I uninstalled the app, re installed it and now it says oops there seems to be a connectivity issue...GUYS...I think its yourls server....please sort the issue out...we are all having the same problem! | |

Please try again later" Over and over, Doesn't matter if you use wifi, cable or cellular, only worked properly (past tense) on one device (nokia 3.1) which had been setup about a year ago, the app wont work on my other devices and simply is rubbish. in my experience performing worse over time. Cannot recommend this product for the high prices these devices cost, especially with a disfunctional app. | |
2020-09-13 | Sergey | Well, this p.o.s. thing has gotten even worse, I did not think it was possible. A couple of weeks ago it just stopped logging any activity (I've been paying the ridiculous subscription for a couple of years btw), and even stopped logging the regular 24h timelapse. After struggling fruitlessly for a couple of days, I decided to re-install the app. Guess what: now I cannot even log back into my account, just says "oops there have been a connectivity problem, try again later". Hate this so much. | |
2020-04-07 | A Google user | Frustrating. We bought this for our nursery and we can't rely on it to stay on baby monitor mode while on wifi. Sound will randomly cut out and video is hit and miss. Edit: camera just keeps telling me "loading" and after attempting to reset it numerous times, just decided after 18 months of terrible experiences it is time to upgrade. Do not reccomend this camera at all. | |
2020-03-21 | A Google user | Junk! Have tried to use since 2018 snd it's still one of the most over-priced, low feature camera products on the market. Zoom and auto-enhance are rubbish. Help files, are no help. What the heck is "Home offline"? Every single time I'm away and use this useless app I get a message saying the camera cannot connect to the network. Live feed never works. Have tried wi-fi and ethernet but always the same problem. Have contacted support several times and not once had a solution or complete reply. | |
2019-09-24 | A Google user | Worst home camera ever. Live streaming / monitoring never works, and if you get lucky and it loads image quality is poor. I don't know where the 1080p spec comes from. I have opened several times support tickets with same result. No improvement. They always commit that there will be improvements for Android app, yet nothing for more than 2 years now. Buy a cheap camera, you will get way better results and save your money. This camera doesn't support its main feature... Monitoring! | |
2019-06-20 | A Google user | The app & Camera are horrible! I received this as a baby gift 6 months ago and all it does is keeps disconnecting.. I get the dreaded spinning circle.!! It doesn't stay connected. I can't get the music to change and it always says that the air quality is bad in the room (which we have air purifiers in it)... so frustrating! This was not something I would have picked myself.. now it can't be taken back & the person wasted money on something I can't use to monitor the baby with. | |
2019-05-17 | A Google user | the camera connects fine, but then when i go to view the feed it gets stuck on loading almost all the time. unplugging and replugging the camera fixes this for a bit, but eventually it goes back to not working. even when it does work, its hit or miss, having to restart the app frequently. it also resets settings constantly, reactivating sensors that i had disabled and changing their levels. edit: the link they provided in their reply to my review only takes me to their website with no help |
