2024-11-09 | James Cook | I've been using this for years, got the pro version "for life" for a very reasonable price back when Windscribe started. I haven't had any problems until my Pixel 7 Pro updated to Android 15. All apps updated, but Windscribe wouldn't connect anywhere. A couple of weeks in, I decided to uninstall and reinstall, everything works again. It's a really good service. Enjoy.
2024-10-25 | Guitargirl Jo | When it works, I love it, and think it's great. I have the Pro version after being a free member for awhile. I only use it for streaming UK & Ireland content from the US. Unfortunately, every time there's an update from these apps, I run into a lot of problems. :( Yesterday I couldn't access BBC iPlayer on my fire tablet, but could on my phone & could access everything else. Now I just did an update, & can't access anything accept RTE. :( I love Windscribe, but I'm wondering if I can do better.
2024-10-22 | Montana Grl5 | It's great until they lie that you are out of data a week earlier then every month before just so that's you will upgrade to their paid plans. It would be perfect if the auto connect didn't periodically (2-3 out of 5 times) not auto connect after device restart. I have already contacted useless support, get over yourself. This is not device specific, it is app specific. Again, get over yourself.
2024-10-08 | Otto D | It's good for daily use, but i had two weeks where It randomly disconnected and I couldn't figure out why. I spent a while troubleshooting and I eventually narrowed down the problem to the protocol I was using and switched to wireguard. The manual protocol setting was totally useless for me and only the "preferred protocol" setting actually did anything. It works fine now but still has minor issues, mostly just annoyed I had to really try and get it to work.
2024-08-15 | Chris “Journeyman” Scott | I've literally used Windscribe for over 12 years. It keeps getting better. I try other VPN's every now and then to make sure that I know what the other tools are doing, but Winscribe's feature set and quality is by far the best. I personally have never encountered a bug. The support and the Team are excellent. Highly Recommended!
2024-07-06 | rudy | This app is giving me hell. I cannot switch protocol while disconnected, I either have to dig through settings or force stop the app. I cannot switch protocol during prolong connection attempts, requiring to dig through settings or force stop app. There's so much screen. The main view can be a tier of collapsible, easy access settings including locations. Decoy needs to be repositioned on the main view, I cannot change protocols with my fat fingers. Preferred protocol is ignored!? I need a break
2023-07-28 | Samer Ahmed | Windscribe is a great VPN app that offers a generous free plan with 10GB of data per month. It's fast most of the time, has many servers in different locations, and works on Windows, Android, and iOS. I've been using Windscribe for a few months now and I've been really happy with it. The free plan is perfect for basic browsing and streaming, and the paid plans offer even more features and benefits.
2023-05-27 | Mohammad Fakher (FieryAngel) | Best VPN ever, there's just a small bug with Wireguard protocol. Edit: Lately it doesn't work in Iran due to restrictions on our network, if you could add more protocols like SSH or V2ray etc, I think it should be able to connect. Just last month, I was able to connect to "London:Crumpets" and "Los Angeles:Dogg" using "Stealth" protocol on port "443", and it was the only working protocol and servers that worked. But right now, even those stopped working and I can't connect any servers.
2022-12-31 | Mark Oberg | I've used over a dozen different VPNs over the years. Windscribe VPN has the locations I need, along with speed and stability that's good enough to make it my daily driver. It also has a great feature set that includes control of which apps will use the VPN and which bypass it. I like that I can configure a good mix of protocols and ports; also new options for configuring secure DNS and filters. It's a pretty tight system that does what I need while being stable enough to keep it on 24/7.
2022-09-23 | Larry Jiao | For the most part works wonders. Seems to have issues automatically connecting to a network lately. When I switch to the app it's stuck on connecting but it needs my input to turn off and on. Even with split tunnelling enabled I have some trouble with GPS on Google Maps & some other apps. (I didn't see the review response despite a notification for it) I haven't bothered to contact their support over this but I figured it's a common issue across using VPNs. |
