2024-11-17 | tom morgan | Its ok but i had an earlier version that was better ot showed elevation and how far away you were from the phone towers and signal strength. I liked this feature because im in the mountains all the time and i always try to know where i get the eat signal where i can i havent been able to do that since i put this app on my new phone which make experience not so good.
2024-09-15 | Will Butler | This app was wonderful and the absolute best. There was a shortcut to a phone menu that let me select cell network type which was supremely useful allowing me to force 4G only. Recent update removed this feature which is a major downgrade and I could only access the menu thru this app. Extremely disappointed. If the option comes back I will gladly change this to 5 stars, but as of now, I can't stand app developers who take a perfect app and REMOVE functionality.
2024-09-04 | Dean Tucker | I've used this app for seven years and even purchased the "pro" version, which I used for a few years. I discontinued using the upgrade and went back to the free version. It worked just as well and wasn't as "busy" screen wise. This new update just doesn't work as well, and when I changed the location setting to all the time and precise, my phone warned that the app using too much power and repeatedly crashing even when the app wasn't running. Might have to delete.
2024-08-29 | Rob | Used this on a different phone a while back and was quite happy with it. I downloaded it today, and it seems that it captures more data than I remember. You have to accept the terms to use it, unfortunately, so it got uninstalled. I did give a second star because at least they were upfront about the data collection and what they do with it - it just isn't for me.
2024-07-01 | Louise Turmenne | This app fits my need perfectly. Apparently, not every app of this purpose has the same qualities. There are features in this app the others don't have. The map on this app is a higher quality and more in line with Google's design, which I prefer. I don't open it as often as I probably should, but when I do, I can trust it's accuracy. All a.i. driven apps and devices SHOULD be trust-worthy. This one is.
2024-02-09 | Wesley Waggoner | This is an amazing application. We live in an area, about a block from our local tower. Our signal strength has dramatically decreased significantly In the past 8 months. We can't even watch a 3 minute video without it buffering, making it take 10 minutes, so you can imagine how frustrating it is to attempt a full length movie. While we've not yet been able find the owner/administrator of said tower, your app gives us real time data which can be recorded, it shows our proxi.... continued
2023-10-15 | Dan Leithauser | I was looking for a way to make the cellular signal strength meter larger. This app has a useful widget that provides that information pretty well, although it consumes lots of screen space. The size forces you to dedicate a whole screen rather than letting it display on the main home screen. A simpler graphic widget looking like the typical triangular, but as a large single widget would be appreciated. Still, great app and info. Thanks.
2023-02-25 | Ran Wiz | I've used a few - but this app really gives me a lot of data, and tools to examine data. Downloaded when I was desperate for a signal in a remote area, but now use it all the time to check tower locations, etc for me and friends I'm with. GREAT TOOL even the free version. Ads are minimal, and less of a distraction than most free app advertising. LOVE IT !
2023-01-26 | Tonja Watford | The app works really good finding the data signals around my house. I'd still be at the front of the house trying to get a signal because there's a tower in that direction, which my carrier doesn't use. All the towers are in the opposite direction! This app has helped me find the best signal faster. The speed test doesn't work, which would be useful. So far it's a good app.
2022-10-16 | Tank R. | Great app if you're into the super techy aspects of signal propagation. Unfortunately, I cant seem to make it stop loading itself in the background. I dont always need to be debugging and mapping cell and wifi signals, especially on devices that no longer have service and are just used as pocket computers around the house. The constantly loading itself feels very not kosher and I will uninstall and distance myself from such apps as I am with this one. But will still reinstall and use when I need |
